What point are you trying to make exactly?
I made my point very clear.
So it would appear they are open to discuss the removal and relocation of the statues in question. Maybe make that part clear to the readers.

Yep, I'll have to restock my crayons from the looks of things.

Is crayons going to be a thing now?
If so then please use teal or maybe UPS brown.

Now that we know that the Vikings beat him here by a few centuries I’d be good with statues of Ragnar Lothbrok or Erik The Red!

The horns on their helmets would deter the pigeons and seagulls.

And the Vikings, the biggest slavers of their times, were probably late comers, too. As to Columbus, trying to tear down the statue in Little Italy didn't work the last time after it was explained that Chris had paid protection money and disturbing him wouldn't be good for those doing the disturbing. They immediately saw reason and decided that Chris could stay on his pedestal.

I had no idea about the significance of the Columbus statue to the Italian community but it makes sense.

I’m not for the removal of statues or anything else that cloaks or cancels history.

Unless it’s off topic of course.

Columbus is quite off topic to the actual history of America...
If anyone it should be Amerigo Vespucci, but even that is a sham as apparently Europe went to America even before the raise of monarchy in Europe...

Off topic Statue removed, to prevent culture drift.

Ordinarily, I am dead against the statue removers but, reading this gave me a much better appreciation about why some of them should be got rid of.

Can you imagine being the person who was so afraid of an inanimate piece of art that you had to have it removed from public view? What kind of little pin head must that be? Likely one with blue hair named Karen.

But this will stifle any discussion of whichever statue was removed. The best way to learn history is to repeat it, then it's really fresh in your mind.
