Discussing only the herbivores for a moment...the general argument I'm seeing in this thread from pro meat consumers is that meat is more nutritional than plants. Is someone going to go tell the grazing deer or cow that they are making themselves sickly and weak because all they're consuming is water and fiber?

We all have bacteria gardens in our guts.
Again, my question is, if a 100% plant based diet holds no nutritional value then how do some grazing animals not only survive but thrive? Take the bison for example, how many centuries has this creature existed on plant sustenance alone?

You basically pointed me to nothing. At least, nothing specific to back up your statement about an animal's nutritional compounds being affected by a plethora of aspects outside of what they eat. I'm simply asking you for some specific examples.

I have Chrons disease, the only meat I can eat, and in moderation, without regret is poultry.
I have better luck with fruits and vegetables, but they cost twice as much as meat.
Trust me. I would love meat if it loved me.
I doesn't.

Herbivores have different nutritional needs than carnivores
Such as?

Most animals that are consumed by humans are herbivores. If their flesh is so healthy, jam-packed with vitamins and minerals, where do they get their nutrients from?

It's kind of odd how you continue making claims that you refuse to expand upon but again, thank you for your time.

How about lean beef or lamb/mutton? Not an option for you?
Tofu or beans as a protein substitute?
Chrons is a bit of a b*stard condition to have. I can't even begin to relate.

I can eat lamb in small amounts occasionally. I can eat fish, but fish is not my favorite food. I do not tolerate beef or pork well at all. I do not like tofu.
I tolerate quinoa, rice, and beans fairly well.
I will admit that sometimes I bite the bullet and eat things that I know will leave me feeling miserable for hours to days.
I have spent a many years with this condition, so I pick my battles.

What is odd about citing known science and facts?
You didn't cite anything.

You've been paying .69 cents (US$) for a dozen eggs??!1
Here in Sweden we've been paying the equivalent of $3.50 for a dozen since 10 years ago, lol.
