Unless they assign the unborn a SSN# then this allows a person without a SSN# to be claimed as a dependent.

I think the republicans need to focus on reconciling some of their contradictory positions. Or maybe just focus on something, anything but this goddamn abortion issue. All these kids they save will grow up in dystopia USA because of their lack of focus.

Where do they stand on access to abortions for illegal aliens? Do these illegal aliens have access to abortion in their country of origin? If a pregnant illegal alien is arrested in a state where abortion is illegal, for the crime of attempted abortion, should she be deported to her country of origin where abortion happens to be legal?

You dont get a ss# until you are a citizen and you dont become a citizen until you are born or naturalized.

You are still a person though and under the protection of the 14th amendment

you are person before you are born, you are also a person before you are naturalized. and being a person is all you need to gain protection under the 14th

for a person to become a citizen you must be born in the jurisdiction of the u.s. or be naturalized... both can only happen to people.

since when do you believe th SCOTUS has to rule on it? you sure seem upset they stopped psychopaths from murdering their children

would you like the scholarly article about this and how the unborn have been treated as born for purposes of law for the past 1100 years or so?

What I know is that there is no due process for the unborn before a woman undergoes an abortion on demand. I know that as of right now, one has to be born to qualify for 14th Amendment rights in the USA.

I think its a great first step, Girl at the squadron I work in is getting out after she has her kid and I been trying to point her in the right direction because well the military's "help" post birth if your on your way out is non-existent.

Some financial help during and right after is great but it really should stretch out to 6 months in my opinion.

Also for those arguing I wouldn't waste the energy arguing with the death cult, they wont be content with anything less than 100% obedience for their beliefs.

It's something and it sounds nice but I predict a lot of women who have no business being a parent might get pregnant due to greed. Then abandon or neglect the child. That's not good for society.

But at least it's a start by the right. But also like quintessentone said it's not enough. Children are a life changing, time consuming, expensive , life long undertaking. Wages just aren't paying enough to handle such a responsibility. And to truly raise a child you need a parent in the home.

Fix the wage issue and then you'll see more young people having kids.

So if they ARE a person before they are naturalized... And all people are protected then why do you think the word "person" applies to the unnaturalized but not the unborn?

Where does the 14th make that separation?

It clearly says "persons born or naturalized"

If you can kill a person who isnt born then why cant you kill a perosn who isnt naturalized?
