We're definitely getting an indictment soon. Trump is trying to use Jim Jordan to get as much information as he can about Smith's investigation. Of course it's long been established that the DOJ will not turn over any information related to an ongoing investigation.

Until the case either works its way through the courts or the DOJ decides not to indict the case is open and the DOJ will not share any information.

He was the POTUS. He had the ability see ANYTHING. Things only a handful of people will ever see. Like I said, show me where he used Classified Information for monetary gain and lock his ass up. I have no loyalty to him. I am loyal to my country.

Anyone who uses Classified information or their position for monetary gain should be charged, and we have quite a few right now, but the only person the DOJ will investigate is a former president. No one else. You have a former elected official with documents found in 6 or 7 places including a garage and nothing? He threatened a country with sanctions during a attended meeting, bragged about it and...nothing.

Obstruction of Justice is another nice MSM word like sedition. They sound bad. Charge someone and you can run it all day and all night but in the end, like everything else, there will be....nothing.

If they have evidence arrest him now under the Patriot Act and hold him indefinitely if he is a threat to the country. Should have done it two years ago if all of the things they say are true but guess what...it is all BS.

WHy now? its to stop him from being the republican nominee. I am quite sure there are never trumpers trying to get him taken out early. If trump is gone they will drop biden.

Iditements are not a guilty verdict. Most of them are dropped eventually in reality. I will vote desantis or JFK depending on if the country has not went to civil war over this. IF possible Ill vote trump even if he works from prison. Ive voted democrat in th epast as well. I go with who is best for the country and MY pocket book. Trump is better than Biden policy wise.

It's being reported that Mark Meadows has in fact testified before not just the documents grand jury, but the J6 grand jury.

Meadows has long been considered to be the person that can do the most damage to Trump. It's also been speculated that he may be the one that provided the DOJ with the information they needed for the search warrant.

The fact that he's managed to keep such a low profile while so many others in Trump World have had a spotlight thrust upon them could be a sign he has negotiated a deal with the DOJ.

No, obstruction of justice and sedition are legal terms used by lawyers and law enforcement officials. And they are deemed bad things by the laws we have on the books. What the MSM is doing is reporting on the criminal investigation as it develops and on the potential criminal case(s).

No one has claimed for a fact that Trump used any classified documents for monetary gain, although it is a possibility, and the special counsel is investigating it. However, that is not the legal bar for what is criminal in handling or holding onto classified documents.

And apparently not to your knowledge, their is a special counsel also investigating Joe Biden and his past handling of classified material after he left office as senator and then VP. One big difference, however, is that the Biden team notified the government and turned over classified documents after becoming aware of them, as well as agreeing to a consensual search of his premises. Trump did not do this. He fought the government requests, and it appears that he even lied and tried to hide documents from investigators. If you can't see the difference, that is on you, not on the government.

Why now? As opposed to when? This matter with Trump and the documents has been ongoing for about a year and a half; Trump was given all the time in the world to return the documents in question, but he kept on fighting and litigating it, he is wont to do. He could've turned over all the documents in question early on, and likely wouldn't have been prosecuted. And criminal investigations, particularly one of this gravity and precedent, take time to conclude.

Given that he left office on Jan 20th, 2020, then held onto documents, and also fomented a seditious riot in Jan, 2020, which the House of Representatives conducted afterwards and lead to criminal referrals to the DOJ, it is not at all surprising or a coincidence that the DOJ is only now coming to close the investigations and likely handing down indictments against him and possibly others.

Most federal indictments are not dropped unless there is a plea bargain agreement. And the feds win about 90% of their cases as well.

It sure sounds like you're an always Trumper unless he leaves the race. His putting tariffs on Chinese goods did not help your pocket book. Tariffs are always passed onto the consumer.

And who will dump Biden if Trump bows out of the race? Unfortunately the establishment Democrats are backing him, and already giving him his way by changing up the order of primary elections, in particular putting South Carolina first.

You seem to be making up explanations for why these criminal investigations against Trump are continuing. You know why other past presidents haven't been in so much legal trouble? Because they didn't commit crimes -- other than being war criminals, of course, but they get a pass for that in the US.

News flash, most of the Tea Party conservatives became Trump MAGA acolytes. Oh, he's in all likelihood talking because he doesn't want to go to jail, and has been involved in and/or knowledgable about Trumps various criminal shenanigans.

Meadow's lawyer has issued a statement that Meadows would tell the truth when legally required to. Given that he was subpoenaed by the Jack Smith grand jury, that is as good as saying that he has squealed on Trumpty Dumpty. If he didn't, then he is opening himself up to charges of perjury. There are other witnesses as well, so it would be foolish to put oneself in legal jeopardy when the person knows that others are talking. Meadows having been involved in past Trumps crimes, it would make sense for him to turn states evidence to avoid legal jeopardy for these crimes as well. But hey, we'll know for sure when the case comes to trial and the evidence comes out.

I DID save money under trump though. The tariffs didnt bother me at all. The tax savings alone fixed the tariff issue.
