Yeah, terribly interesting. What is a bit more interesting, however, is that the grand jury has been called back in, and it is likely in order to vote on indictments.

Trump's lawyers were spotted entering the DOJ today as speculation that an indictment may come as early as this week.

This is pretty much the last step before charging decisions are made. Unless Trump's lawyers can provide Garland with a good reason why Smith's investigation is invalid, I'm guessing we'll be hearing about an indictment in a matter of days.

Trump's lawyers have left the DOJ. The meeting lasted about two hours. Garland was not personally present at the meeting.

It's now being reported that while Garland was not at the meeting, Jack Smith was at the meeting.

Andrew Weissman speculates that the indictment will come this week in DC. He also speculates that Trump may not be the only one indicted. Which may explain why the special counsel had witnesses testify before a grand jury in Florida recently.

It's now being reported that investigators are looking into whether or not a flood in MAL's server room last October was an intentional attempt to destroy evidence.

The maintenance worker responsible for causing the flooding is the same maintenance worker that reached out to MAL's IT department asking questions about where the surveillance footage was stored and how long it was stored, which is also the same maintenance worker that helped Walt Nauta move boxes of documents.

His Truth Social statement sure sounds like he expects the axe to come down, and in this meeting his lawyers had with the DOJ, they were likely told what to expect.

Who are you saying is trying to drive poll numbers, the DOJ? That's purdee hilarious on the face of it, but why do it at this early date, relative to the primaries?

Indictments are coming, and they're not going away. There is now so much evidence against Trump in this matter, the Mar-a-Lago documents case, that it would be malfeasance if the DOJ did not prosecute him.

There was no evidence Pence intentionally retained the documents. There's a whole lot evidence that Trump did.
