I wrote out a nice rebuttal and then went naw... you wont care the fact that you only went BUT TRUMP... ORANGE MAN... shows whether or not you are a hypocrite.

If trump is guilty of something charge him, not trumped up bs like in New york if this is a crime its a federal crime charge him.

They wont because they are using this as a distraction for the useful idiots out there that think trump is literally hitler to try and cover up how terrible the current administration is in hopes it cand get someone from the democratic party across the finish line in 2024.

Well we're not privy to where Smiths DOJ case has taken him are we? We do know it recently pivoted to interest in those ME countries though. People complain about leaks but then also shout if they are not privy to info from the DOJ.

Did you ever think they have not yet, but in the case of the docs and Georgia that the investigations became quite voluminous with all the players involved? Do you realize how rock solid the evidence needs to be? Even with the little we know people are claiming the witnesses cannot be trusted, the audio cannot be trusted, I'm sure you'll say the MAL security footage cannot be trusted. See, the DOJ will not rely on paid, fired employees that aren't actually "whistleblowers", they will not rely on evidence brought to them by Guiliani from his little trip with convicted criminals to Eastern Europe. That kind of stuff along with all the docs and election stuff has to be vetted. You can't convict because a paid witness or Rudy says so. You have to rely on all the evidence found. Which in the docs case comes from MAL,Trump's own words and actions, his attorneys, his employees and any records depending on where the evidence is pointing them.

We know there are multiple grand juries currently ongoing. So clearly the DOJ believes they have the evidence to indict. At this point it's pretty much a matter of when, not if.

And based on certain experts' opinions, the when may be sooner than we think.

And apparently the NY times reports today that grand jury has tapes from Corcoran as well. Indicating Trump wanted to keep docs from the government. It's paywalled for me, so if I find a source I'll link and just say it's being reported for now.

Nope, if you look above, kinda think the DOJ will have to present rock solid evidence and as we see so far, the leaked evidence is receiving serious pushback and spin from Magadonians as Trump is now calling his true believers. I'll predict the indictments anywhere between now and Sept. I'll happily apologize at that time if I'm wrong. I kind of think the trickle of info is so people and/or Magadonians can adjust to the fact they have a ton of evidence and it will be coming.

6 going on 7 years of investigations and many democrats swearing they have the goods, the evidence is irrefutable and nothing but a state misdemeanor charge being trumped up as a federal.

If he is guilty charge him, I will wager that when push comes to shove it will be dropped the moment they think they did enough damage to trump and let the bs in new york be their "vindication" since he has zero shot at a fair trial in that district.

IF what trump did is a crime it must be a federal crime there is literally nothing else to mess around with, indict and charge him.


There is zero reason to wait, his possession is either a crime or its not, no reason other than politics to wait.

Well, we will see. Soon I believe. It's tough it seems, there was such chaos trying to get anything. We only now find out the NY agent in charge during the whole Mueller/Barr investigations was being paid by a Russian and is facing charges. Not sure how Barr missed that and the guy was assisting in the whole Russia investigation. Weird.

Well, maybe it seems the evidence they found has now pointed them in an additional direction, the missing doc, the subpoena for Trump records and dealings with ME and China. This case might have opened a whole can of worms. We don't know what's entirely on the security footage, we don't know if they obtained more from Bedminster when he was hosting Saudi's, we don't know entirely what his lawyers have testified to and what's on all the recordings. It's a lot of stuff, and again you may be able to indict a ham sandwich, but it seems the DOJ is looking for convictions. Can't get that with paid whistleblowers. Need solid evidence.

Yeah! I can't think of a single reason why the DOJ would wait for a grand jury to decide whether or not to indict a former President on a multitude of complex charges.

I only wish democrats investigated all crimes like they do with Trump.

Hell, the jails would be full and the streets would be safe!

But this is just political witch hunts.

It's ugly, partisan as hell, and a shameful reflection on our nation, especially when we have so many cheering on political persecution.

Why yes, there are multiple witnesses who will attest to this. And there is the audiotape, which is apparently fairly long, although the portion regarding this matter was about 2 min. long. Did you read the full article, which was linked?
