Huh? You're comparing the NY case to a committee investigation? So you believe they should have immediately subpoenaed instead of asking for the documents? You do realize there were midterm elections, breaks, Raskin getting cancer treatments and then the GOP became in charge of the committee? You think they were just twiddling their thumbs those few months?
The FBI has offered to show Comer the document in question, and that evidently isn't good enough for him, because he wants to wave it around in a public spectacle, as red meat to all the Biden bashers and anti-Democrats.
As for the administration that brought us the closest to the Depression, that would've been George W Bush's if it weren't for Obama's plan to mitigate the 2007 financial crisis.

Just wanted to point out that in the age of deep fakes, your sources are CNN and the DOJ.
Was Adam Schiff unavailable for comment?
Did you miss the part about there being witnesses as well as the audiotape? CNN and DOJ aren't good enough for you. I'm guessing anonymous tweet memes and right-wing fringe web sites are more to your liking.
Adam Schiff isn't involved in the investigation. Jack Smith is leading it and he has a lot better record than that clown John Durham at winning federal cases.

Oh God, it gets worse.
Trump was subpoenaed in March to turn over the Iran document. His lawyers couldn't find it.

The witness in question is the communications director for Trump's campaign. Do you really think she's going to fabricate audio and lie to throw Trump under the bus?
Not to mention that the incident is tangentially referenced in Mark Meadows' memoir, which is what the aides were interviewing Trump for.

Or he lost it.
Or he sold it.
Or his lawyers did find it but because they had shortly before this told investigators that they had searched all the properties and turned up nothing it would look bad if suddenly a new document came to light.
There's a lot of what ifs. Most of them bad.
