So its not surprising that people are having a hard time accepting the guilt of Donald Trump after a politically motivated civil lawsuit failed to prove the aligations leveled at the defendent (rape) and so lesser charges where used as a compromise.


I can easily imagine people voting to find Trump guilty of sexual assault durung a rape civil suit just to end deliberations and go home. The man is skeve and has lived a charmed life; he deserves everything that comes to him; especially this nothingburger slap on the wrist and the bad publicity. The only problem would be the fact that this Political Persecution is bad for our country in general and seeing Trump get his karmic justice is not worth the unintended consequences to the rest of society. But altruism might not go far when stuck in a deliberation room with 11 other people where some percentage of those people hate Donald Trump and will accuse you of bigotry over not believing a woman's testimony.
