There is no logic to any of it.
They simply hate guns. These are the same people who advocate for doctor assisted suicide by the same means as we execute prisoners, but they will call that cruel and unusual punishment. They will also, at the very same time, lump suicide by firearm into statistics for gun violence even as they bravely tell everyone that we all have the right to end our own lives ... just not, apparently, by the means of our own firearms because that's "gun violence" and disgusting.
from above source from cnn, note the words MAY as in they havent ascertained motive yet nor posted an image of the patch . from trying to google it there isnt exactly a "single one" use some use a warhammer 40k meme format one is just RWDS in big red letters (that is from one of the proud boys) and then there are like 30 or 40 other variations ranging from lettering implying pinnochet did nothing wrong to other far less post able ones. i mean if were gonna just spit ball guesses with out evidence being show perhaps as a dodge charger driver his alleged patch stood for "rear wheel driving squad" ,they arent as notorious as mustangs for plowing into crowds but they are all mostly RWD
While authorities have not determined a specific motive, the source said the deceased suspect was found with an insignia on his clothing that read “RWDS,” which authorities believe may stand for “Right Wing Death Squad.”
least that is what the FBI is claiming and they go farther to claim he was the following
The man who shot multiple people at an Allen, Texas mall on Saturday, killing at least eight, served with the U.S. Army in 2008 and “was removed due to mental health concerns,” according to an FBI bulletin reviewed by Rolling Stone.
now im just used to the idiot neo nazis from montana who are well white....so seeing hispanic neo nazis is somewhat new to me as it seems to go against the grain for a "white supremacist" but it seems the fbi wanted to toss out as many buzzwords as possible it goes on to allege he was part of a neo nazi group and apparently wanted to target women? then oddly continues to say of all things he never owned a passport which just stood out to me as kind of a weird thing to say? still cant find a photo of the patch anywhere
Investigators believe the shooter was a neo-Nazi and incel, according to local and federal law enforcement emails.
guy was over 21 which is kind of what they wanted to do with there proposed law so that wouldnt have helped here, i honestly dont know if getting "booted from the military for mental health reasons " tends to restrict weapons rights i know being dishonorably discharged does but they didnt phrase it that way and as he had previously reported a weapon stolen and not raised any "RED FLAGS" with that statement and it happened in a "gun free area" in texas of all places. so i dont see any new laws being passed stopping this kind of thing least that would survive challenge with recent SCOTUS rulings soo.....
Instead of limiting gun rights, Self said local governments need to be free to better defend public spaces from armed criminals. He called proposals to restrict gun rights, such as raising the age at which people can purchase AR-15-style weapons, “a knee-jerk reaction that does not stop criminals.”

Haters are gonna hate. That’s just what they do.
So he is one of those white supremacist Hispanics like George Zimmerman.

We should immediately kill every active shooter.
2nd.
Texas is one giant gun toting State & I thought carrying guns deters crime ?
And if more guns was the solution, we'd be seeing less shootings. But we're seeing more. Imagine that.
Why didn't the signs work?

www.rollingstone.com... another article that mentions it also implies he was discharged from the army for "mental heath reasons" which i hadn't seen posted elsewhere
