So you're admitting that you support the murder of children?

Before you get offended, I'm just using the same black/white logic you've applied to other topics.

Another impossible logical leap.

Try again?

I’ve laid out my thoughts here.

It sounds as if you’re willing to accept the death of schoolchildren and innocent bystanders as a necessary sacrifice in lieu of even the smallest concession to regulating guns and those who should be allowed access to them.

Is this accurate?

Yes, abridging another persons rights without due process is disgusting.

If you can translate that the the approval of murder, id love to see it.

The loss of innocent life through gun violence is a tad more disgusting than implementing red flag and common sense gun laws. I’m sure the families of those who suffered from senseless gun violence would love to hear your take.

What’s happened in Allen, Uvalde, Sutherland Springs, El Paso and Santa Fe, Texas are the direct result of your ideal, gun-fetish Utopia.

Question:

Why is the loss of innocent life more disgusting when it's lost to guns as opposed to abortion, stabbing, beating, car "violence", drug OD, drowning, abuse, torture, droning (See Obama's wedding gift), and many, many other ways an innocent person can lose one's life?

Why are guns to much worse and disgusting?

Nice try.

So to answer the question will common sense laws stop gun violence? No it does not. This guy snapped or got mixed in with the wrong crowd.

Will taking all guns away from civilians change anything? NO it will not. Murder is illegal, vehicle man slaughter is illegal, coc aine and meth are illegal..all still happen and can still be found on the streets..Criminals will always be criminals.

identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia, a senior law enforcement source familiar with the investigation told CNN.

Garcia underwent firearms proficiency training for his work as a commissioned security officer, according to the Texas Online Private Security database, which is maintained by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Garcia was approved to work as a security guard in Texas from April 2016 until April 2020, when his license expired, according to the database. His profile shows he worked for at least three security companies. None of those companies immediately responded to requests for comment.

According to the database, Garcia received Level II and Level III security training. The former covers security laws in Texas; the latter, which is required for all commissioned security officers and personal protection officers in Texas, includes firearm training and the demonstration of firearm proficiency, according to Jonah Nathan, vice president of Ranger Guard, a security guard service in Texas not affiliated with Garcia’s employers.

In 2018, Garcia also completed a separate firearms proficiency training course that requires six hours of continuing education, according to the Texas DPS database.

Private security guards in Texas undergo background checks and are disqualified if they have committed certain crimes such as assault, burglary or sexual offenses, among others, according to the Texas DPS website and state codes.

The shooter was a Neo-Nazi sympathizer who interacted with white supremacist content online.

He also had an RWDS patch on his chest — Right Wing Death Squad. An acronym popularized by the Proud Boys.

White Supremacy ties.

Why is that moving the goalposts? All of those things involve an innocent or more than one losing their life. Why is it that when those innocents lose their lives, you consider it less disgusting? That is the implication of what you wrote.

What hypocrisy?

Your logic hinges on inaction somehow being an action or favor for something.

Not like jailing journalist for example....

So mixing your post in with the one above it, this guy was a white Hispanic like George Zimmerman?

Y'all are trying too hard. But I guess with the recent pattern of transgenders shooting everyone, you need to chalk one up in the W column.

Your feels aside, Im asking how you can translate inaction to an action or favor for something else.

So in other words, a standard thoughts-and-prayers scenario that will get blamed on mental health by the Right as they cut funding to mental health and then ultimately swept under the rug by them.

There is no logic to any of it.

They simply hate guns. These are the same people who advocate for doctor assisted suicide by the same means as we execute prisoners, but they will call that cruel and unusual punishment. They will also, at the very same time, lump suicide by firearm into statistics for gun violence even as they bravely tell everyone that we all have the right to end our own lives ... just not, apparently, by the means of our own firearms because that's "gun violence" and disgusting.

Based on these numbers we should also ban vehicles as well.

In 2021, 54% of all gun-related deaths in the U.S. were suicides (26,328), while 43% were murders (20,958), according to the CDC. The remaining gun deaths that year were accidental (549), involved law enforcement (537) or had undetermined circumstances (458).

NHTSA projects that an estimated 42,915 people died in motor vehicle traffic crashes last year, a 10.5% increase from the 38,824 fatalities in 2020.
