Maybe they should focus on banning private jets first?

Also, maybe anyone who owns 8+ homes should pay an extra carbon tax? Climate warrior Michael Moore comes to mind.

Why are all these draconian dictates always aimed at the "commoners" and never the elites?

Because the elites make the rules.

and they get to live with the unintended consequences of their madness..

they really do need to diversify their gene pool as they appear to be running out of basic common sense..

Humans are the only animals on the planet that elect the weakest, and dumbest of us to lead the herd.

I don’t know if anyone mentioned it yet but canning is not recommended on an electric stove. I’ve done it on electric but you can’t maximize the canner due to the weight, you’ll break the cooktop glass.

If they ban gas ranges it will hinder people’s ability to preserve their own food. Maybe that’s the goal.

80 million sounds like a lot, but how large a number is that, when compared to 8 billion?

8 billion folks on the planet. The question is why are the commoners so weak, so conditioned with a slave's mind, that they will allow themselves to get to the point of starving to death, and freezing to death, while waiting for the 1 percent to throw them some crumbs, then killing each other in scrambling to be the ones lucky enough to catch a scrap?

How the hell did we get to the point where we have lost all common sense, and the basic primordial instinct for survival?

It was nice knowing you all. I will be the first one taken down, when the system reaches the point where they are having us do their dirty work by culling ourselves, either by doing nothing, or worse, fighting against the wrong enemy.

I am not going to allow someone living in a compound using more resources in a week than I will ever use in a life time, tell me I can't use a wood or gas stove to cook or stay warm if that is all I have.

This is not becoming a clown world as many say, this world has collapsed into insanity and depravity. We are fighting against, an enemy constructed out of virtual fantasy, and it is destroying all reality.

Nor should you.
If you are one of the first to go down try and make sure you lure them through a maze of booby traps so that it costs them more than they get to accomplish going after you.

Some of us will indeed go down, but if we all make sure they pay with 10 of their minions to get 1 of us, then that is the way to do it to make sure humanity has a fighting chance against these scumbags.

As you mentioned, this is about control. Same reason they want you to switch to an electric car for that kill switch.

The government wants control, and it's not for our betterment.

We the People want to ban the Government from banning anything! They are constantly banning our freedoms so it's about time that We the People ban them from representing us and making the stupidest laws imaginable! ☝️

I second that solution.

We have been talking for years. Time to reject the government that is eliminating our freedoms.

I grew up with chopping wood and big a belly wood stove. There are a hell of a lot less of them today then ever before, they cannot convince me that wood burning stoves are a problem.

Gas burning stoves, are the only thing that provides warmth when the electricity goes down, and it goes down for days, weeks, even months in some places. I know they have spent decades getting us used to accepting unreliable support, starting with the system itself, but it is time to be responsible for self, because the government and the system, doesn't give a damn about us.

But, don't you love AOC lying to you, I mean telling you how bad gas stoves are and that we must ban them?...

AOC, Bernie Sanders, etc are Communists. This is what communists do.

In Venezuela Chavez also told his people that they needed to ration electricity "to fight climate Change..." and they made Venezuela into another socialist/communist hell hole, which is EXACTLY what AOC, Bernie Sanders and Democrat leaders in general want for the U.S.

When this was happening I made a thread in ATS about it and pointed to an article in which Chavez specifically mentioned "rationing electricity in Venezuela to combat climate change." I can't find any articles mentioning this anymore. This is what the democrat leaders/Biden want for the U.S.

last week or so when I survey Google News
I see a bunch of leftist media people mocking the whole concept. 'Don't worry, silly peons, nobody is coming for your gas stoves.'
at the same time I see headlines like 'Hochul wants gas stove ban for new homes in 2025, can stay in existing homes'. in other words, they ARE coming for our gas stoves.
cbs6albany.com...

The Hill ran a story headlined 'Republicans thrust Gas Stoves into Culture Wars'. conveniently ignoring the fact that it all started with a prog bureaucrat advocating the stove ban.

I really hate our biased media. instead of being the people's advocate almost all of them are shills for the powerful.

Oh, I don't think they got that far. Why would anyone need to do that? You just go to the grocery store and get it.

It's not that as it is that most of us live among each other, and we still have a scrap of basic decency and vestige of civility. We know human beings and don't want to scramble up over the backs of the rest, so we are hampered by our ethics and morals. The elites have no such compunctions.

you really don't need to switch from gas to get that control..

the UK pre 70s used artificial gas (part hydrogen) then went natural gas and now looks to be going back to artificial gas (party hydrogen) while framing it as being hydrogen ready.. new planes, cars, ships, trains. boilers, hobs, cookers, fires and stoves.

the thing is the uk gov will want as much control as any other...gas/electric its all the same

where they lose control is when people island themselves with oil/gas tanks etc.. which will always be as option as the rich will always want to island themselves..

the UK gov is never going to opt for less control.. replacing old dumb tach with new smart tech is how they get control.. and in this Americans will fight for new tech the gov will still control but call it a win...

as the old liberal proverb went they'll be singing songs of freedom as the march to their own enslavement.

[url=https://hydrogen-central.com/uk-britains-gas-grid-to-be-ready-to-deliver-hydrogen-across-the-country-from-2023-energy-networks-announce/]head[/ur l]

Energy Networks Association (ENA) has published Britain’s Hydrogen Blending Delivery Plan, setting out how all five of Britain’s gas grid companies will meet the Government’s target for Britain’s network of gas pipes to be ready to deliver 20% hydrogen to homes and businesses acround the country from 2023, as a replacement for up to a fifth of the natural gas currently used. It will also mean that Britain’s fleet of gas-fired power plants will be able to use blended hydrogen to generate cleaner electricity.

some years back there was an gas explosion in a tower block and since then gas has been forbidden in any high rise building built in the uk , fires caused by electric cookers are more likely because they do not show any visable sign that they have been turned off unlike gas where you can see a flame .

a reply to: litterbaux --- thank you for pointing this out ... agreed.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but our family has a one-burner butane-powered portable "stove" ... more of a hotplate, actually. In Los Angeles county, they can be bought at Asian-American grocery stores. Most people use them outdoors on the patio or on a sturdy picnic table. Spec's vary across manufacturers, but purchase options include one or two burners, as well as overall heat numbers. I bought from the smaller end of that spectrum, since the unit will mainly be used for stir-fry, which doesn't require a lot of heat. The higher-powered butane stoves should be able to process food safely for home canning.

The same billionares fly with their own aeroplanes, have multiple houses , cars etc...

The Billionaires Behind The Gas Bans

What a hypocrites!

Notice also the cost in residential energy ....natural gas being lowest, big difference .

Gas generally has a lot of problems, firstly it is very expensive, secondly, temperature changes can lead to the expansion of this gas and everything will explode, it is very dangerous, thirdly it is not very healthy for the environment. I'm already telling all my friends to switch to solar systems. You can read the article to choose the best one www.propaneva.com... For myself, I have decided for a long time that I will use only alternative energy sources, and my car is charging from solar panels
