Idk about the drop part. But it did remind me of something I read today. He announces before they get a change to indict over whatever shenanigans they are trying to indict for.
Already tough to indict a former president. Even harder if he’s also formally the candidate, and the incumbents DOJ would have to be the one to do it, at seemingly the benefit of the sitting president. which Seems significant all things considered. How I read it was that basically it’d be almost an insane possibility to actually happen

Fox News reported before Trump came on that the DOJ has been caught lying about who answered the door at Pelosi's the night he got hammered. The police found it by looking at the bodycam of one of the officers that had been called oit to thw house. Since Trump has been on the side of the police the past 6 years, I can see them bucking the system and not being afraid to look into the DOJ's initial story. Trumps a big baseball fan right? At the beginning of MLB games the ump yells “play ball” and they all get serious and focus on the game.
