The headline is misleading. In the article text, it mentions Macron thinks Europe should "reduce reliance" on the USA, not "cut ties".

Nothing really new there, Paris had made such noises since De Gaulle got his nose out of joint back in the 1960s.

I will say, though, I'm confident the families who have boys buried in the American cemeteries in France wish that Europe had been able to sort its own problems long ago without resort to two world wars and massive American intervention. I would guess there are a few Canadians who feel the same way.

This thread has been a lot of things, but waste of time is not one of them. Sometimes you need to understand that change is gradual, and you need to compare your mindset now to when this all started. Without these threads, how confused would you be? You need to look back and compare the two points to really understand. For example, people who were frustrated because of Trump "losing" the election, but after all the digging now you can really understand that he was never going to win. At the beginning, most "normies" didn't even know the scope of what the world is up against or who, and I will add that I still don't think we really know either. It isn't until you really embrace the facts that there is a reason the evil is becoming more obvious by the day, and that the sacrifices are for a much greater good, that you will truly understand there is an unbelievable plan unfolding right in front of your eyes.

The whole thing is going to take a while...until suddenly the veil is lifted.

I would recommend you all buckle up, because the next act is a ground war in Taiwan.
