How are Russian artillery barrels ? how long until they cant work or replace them ?

Putin never cared how many Russians die in he`s paranoid war .

Russia is fighting a WWI scenario because there is no real air war. Artillery becomes kind of useless once air power is in play.

Russia-Ukraine war live: Ukraine passes controversial bill to broaden civilian mobilisation in attempt to boost military.........................

"Ukrainian parliament passes bill broadening civilian mobilisation to boost fledgling military manpower
Ukraine’s parliament passed a controversial bill on Thursday that will change the rules on civilian military mobilisation in an effort to address fledgling manpower among its forces.

The legislation, which must be signed by president Volodymyr Zelenskiy before it becomes law, is seen as crucial for Ukraine to address what military analysts say are major manpower problems as it fights a better armed and larger foe."

"Oleksandr Pavliuk, the ground forces commander, called on Ukrainians earlier this week to enlist in the army or to be ready to serve in the army.

“We must realize, no one will be able to sit tight,” he wrote on Facebook.

The weekly Parisian report is in and reads as such.

An Uralmash plant in Yekaterinburg was set alight. Uralmash produces, amongst other things, drilling rigs for the oil & gas sector. https:// t. me/rospartizan/2268

An Elektroizolit plant near Moscow was set alight on the 1st of April. The factory is one of the largest in Russia's electrical industry, and was built to replace German manufacturers who left Russia in 2022. https:// t. me/rospartizan/2270

A plane crashed into a facility in Yelabuga, Tatarstan, which was used to produce Shahed drones. https:// t. me/rospartizan/2271

The governor of Murmansk Oblast, Andrei Chibis, was stabbed in the stomach in an attempted assassination in the city of Apatity. https:// t. me/rospartizan/2281

A freight train was derailed in an apparent partisan attack in the Moscow area. https:// t. me/rospartizan/2282

On the 3rd of April, two explosive devices were detonated at the Rzhevskaya electrical substation in St. Petersburg. It is likely that the attack was carried out to inhibit the work of military facilities in the city, such as the "Special Technology Centre" which produces the Orlan-10 drone.

3 young partisans were detained in Ufa, Bashkortostan during an attempt to sabotage a communications tower. https:// t. me/HeraldOfRebellion/789

Molotov cocktails have been thrown at the Russian embassy in Vilnius for two nights in a row as of the 8th of April. https:// t. me/rospartizan/2287

In Samara Oblast, partisans attacked signalling cabinets and other electrical infrastructure along the railways. https:// t. me/HeraldOfRebellion/800

A museum for the "Special Military Operation" in Saratov was set on fire with a molotov cocktail. This is the second time this has happened, but unlike last time, this time it appears the partisan was able to escape. https:// t. me/HeraldOfRebellion/801

In addition, Ilya Ponomarev (leader of the political wing of the Freedom of Russia Legion, and a member of the Council of People's Deputies, which is positioning itself to be a 'transitional government' to turn Russia into a democracy if Putin's regime falls) stated that Russian anti-Putin partisans are involved in most of Ukraine's drone strikes deep inside of Russia.

Interesting the plane that hit the drone factory may not have been flown from Ukraine after all , seems the Partisans are claiming that one.

Good work chaps ... carry on.

Last number i see about the f-16s going to Ukraine was about 94-96 ....the only question is just when . That number is pretty good in current situation, as long as West gives also enough ammo to f-16s .

I wonder why our resident Saratovian hasn't mentioned this or any other attacks on Russian soil?

Well, here's an interesting development...

Russians sent warning that nuclear war is now 'inevitable' with 'millions at risk'

This horrifying assertion was made by a professor on the state-controlled Rossiya 1 TV channel, alarming Russian viewers. Dmitry Evstafiev, a Russian political analyst, declared on the broadcast that Putin's deployment of nuclear arms against Europe is an inescapable reality.

The grim prophecy was shared by Anton Gerashchenko, an advisor to Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs, who posted it on X/Twitter, echoing the academic's dire prediction.

Apparently, this was on Russian television. They are openly stating that nuclear war against Europe is inevitable and all citizens should be sent a postcard from Russia telling them to prepare to die.

You asked, "What is next?" Well, now you know.

If some random American professor went on CNN and said nuclear war was inevitable and a story came out in Russian news saying that AMERICA, as in our government, was threatening nuclear war, you'd call it fake news, and you'd be right.

This was not Russia threatening nuclear war. This was some blowhard "academic" talking out of his ass. Characterizing it as "RUSSIA is openly stating nuclear war is inevitable" is fake news.

Russia does enough nuclear posturing. We don't need to make # up.

Don't spread fake news, please.

Only the Russian TV doesn't invite random people talking out of their asses. The media in Russia are strictly controlled by Putin, nothing happens there by accident. The speakers are carefully selected.

The propaganda on Russian state TV is much more sinister than the usual fear mongering on the Western media. It cannot be dismissed as merely thrill seeking. The state propaganda continuously and meticulously is trying to mentally prepare the citizens for the global war and to desensitize them to its potential horrors, including the nuclear war. The nuclear warfare is a taboo but the more you talk about a taboo, the more you mule over it in your head, the closer you are to breaking it or to accepting the situation when you see it broken by your government.

I'm aware that Russia "news" is state-controlled. That doesn't mean every single person that appears as a guest is speaking for the government. There are clearly people who are just giving their own views, which is why you sometimes get contradictory statements.

For example, here you've got one source saying Russia is definitely going to use nukes, while recently there was another source specifically stating that Putin was NOT threatening the use of nuclear weapons.

Both from Russian news, which you're contending is ALWAYS, 100% of the time, direct statements from the government.

So the Russian government's official position is that it both will and will not use nukes?

Or you're wrong.

Hint: You're wrong.

The reality is we have no idea what their intentions are because they routinely say they're going to do things they don't do or say they're not going to do things that they then go and do.

You're confusing propaganda with diplomatic games.

The nuclear war is a taboo. The taboo is the unthinkable. You break it gradually, with three steps:

1. You think about it.
2. You talk about it.
3. You do it. Or, at least, you accept it being done by someone else.

Those debates and speeches on the Russian TV are not just debates and speeches for the hell of it. They are there for a Reason. And that reason is changing the perspective of an average Russian citizen, to make him entertain the vision of the world where the nuclear war is thinkable, acceptable and doable.

The time when people could express their own opinions in Russia passed away with the introduction of the laws penalizing the "discrediting the armed forces of Russia", "disinformation" and "extremism." And these are not mild penalties but huge fines or years spent in penal colonies. Enough to discourage independent journalism or any dissent.

The reality is we have no idea what their intentions are because they routinely say they're going to do things they don't do or say they're not going to do things that they then go and do.

This is part of the plan. Confusing the enemy.

No. The situation on the front has changed. The American help has stopped. It's obvious that without it Ukraine will lose.

I like how you had to twist yourself into a pretzel and still wound up proving me right.

So no, Russia isn't threatening the West with "inevitable" nuclear war. It was just a "game" by your account, aimed at molding the minds of the Russian populace.

So whether your characterization of WHY that professor said that is correct or my characterization is correct, either way the assertion that Russia is threatening the West with inevitable nuclear war is fake news.

Nice mental gymnastics to agree with me.

Putin is still trying to play the cold war political games with the nuke talk, he thinks it rallies his people and scares the west.

Problem is this time things arent great in the west, they have their own problems integrating all the "new comers" and some of the west I think is looking for a hot war to draft the problem people and send them off to get killed.

just my wag.

Dude we have riots over nonsense like the "injustice" of criminals getting justifiably shot by police in self defense.

You honestly think our government could get away with a draft in this day and age?
