Russian forces are pursuing at least three operational-level efforts that are not mutually reinforcing but let Russian forces prioritize grinding, tactical gains on a single sector of their choice at a time. Ukrainian forces will increasingly struggle to defend against these Russian efforts the longer Ukraine lacks further US military assistance.

Russell was brutally detained on April 8, 2024 near the Autobase in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk," she wrote. According to some public chats the American Z-blogger was detained by a group of heavily intoxicated Russian military officers who took him for an American spy (because of his accent) spying for NATO and kicked him to death. Russian authorities have not yet issued official comments regarding Bentley’s death.
