Putin reacts for first time to raid of Russian volunteer military on Russian territory

The Russian dictator accuses Ukraine of events in the territory of the Belgorod and Kursk regions and does not mention that the border was breached by volunteers from volunteer battalions.

Source

Putin is in denial.

He blames Ukraine for the latest attacks in the territory of the Belgorod and Kursk regions instead of acknowledging that this was conducted by his own people rebelling against him.

Putin's head is stuck up his own ars@ Bishop2199.

He refuses to see the big picture.

And continues to surround himself with sycophantic scum.

It will all end in tears at some point, hopefully his own if there is any justice left in this world.

Putin also claiming they are foreign mercenaries among those volunteer battalions , a typical Putin narrative / lie , as if NATO is in direct war against Russia ...

Putin reacts to raid in Russia's border area by Ukraine's volunteer soldiers from Russia, claiming they are foreign mercenaries

If news were to spread that Russians are siding with Ukraine and actively engaging against Putin's forces etc dissention could quite easily spread.

As you know Putin has a stranglehold on news outlets in Russia and the vast majority of Russians only get to hear/see his heavily propagandised version of events etc.

I'm sure if other opinions and a more rounded reporting was available to the general public Putin would face a larger, more vocal and active opposition.

But the truth will out, or so they say.
Let's hope so.

World on the brink as US rushes new weapons to NATO's border amid Putin nuclear threats

The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced the sales of 821 Lockheed Martin AGM-158B-2 Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles with Extended Range (JASSM-ER), 745 RTX AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAMs), and 232 RTX AIM-9X Block II Sidewinder short-range air-to-air missiles to Poland on March 12.

Putin started talking about using nukes again.

So, the US is fortifying NATO.

About us huh.

What makes you think NATO hasn’t been fortifying and stealing sovereign land for years and putting NATO bases on them?

Led by yours truly, Tony Blair and Hilary/Clinton/Biden?

Please tell us exactly what 'sovereign land' NATO has stolen?
Countries, dates and details of exactly how they stole them.

NATO has an "open door" policy so any applicable nation can apply to join.

But it's a multi-step process and involves meeting specific political, economic, and military criteria.

NATO is a defensive military alliance which does not steal or invade other nations.

Other nations join of their own volition because they are afraid that Russian will invade and occupy their lands.

Do we need to explain how the burden of proof works around these here parts?

You make the claim the onus is on you to provide the evidence to support such.

I’m sorry, and you are?

My threads and past posts were true.

Bakhmut.

Avdeevka.

I’m not completely blind sided here where I’ll just go along with the sheep horde. I watch things from both sides. And come to my own conclusions.

You’re not some sheriff here lol

and from what I reckon, you essentially have zero standing to demand anything from me.

Actually, the article was about Poland buying weapons from the US. It's a business deal. The US is selling, Poland is buying. It's something else than creating NATO bases. So one can't buy weapons now because it infuriates the paranoid psycho on Kremlin? Don't worry. He won't use nukes because he's too much of a coward trembling for his miserable life. He kills all the dissidents because he's constantly afraid of assassination. True, he could vegetate for the rest of his life locked in his luxurious basement but where's fun in that?

Don't forget that we made a few deals with your Trump too. He was extremely happy to sell weapons to Poland. He never opposed the requests. There were the voices coming from certain liberal circles that he once even wanted to include his wife in the bargain for her supposedly high deterrence value. During the dinner with our president he was to say "Once my Melania starts yelling, the Russians will run away with their tails between their legs. As long as she's here, Poland will be safe." I don't know how much truth is in that though.

I'm the one asking the questions and expecting answers the same as yourself.

You have been here since 2011 and should know how the burden of proof works, simple as that really.

And what about Bakhmut or Avdeevka?

To my knowledge, NATO has not invaded occupied or stolen land there.

What you are is rather plain, and thats unable/unwilling to provide facts and evidence to support the ludicrous claims you are making.

As to what you reckon, not much by the looks of things.

I liked the sheriff part through. LoL

But naw pal, i would be on the other team.

What does Sir Thomas Sean Connery think about NATO having a base in Serbia’s Kosovo? And having it stripped from Serbia in 99’?

And Clinton/Biden rooting to give away Serbia’s cradle from centuries to a recent influx of Muslim terrorists tied with al qaeda ffs.

You know that was bs

You've been here quite some time now, you know how this works.
You make a statement and provide supporting evidence, its sort of the accepted thing.

That you express faux outrage that someone has dared to ask you to provide something that supports your statement speaks absolute volumes about you.

Until you do what you posted is just unsubstantiated opinion with no credibility whatsoever.

And please don't feign ignorance by asking what and who I meant as 'us' - ATS members who are reading your post, you know, the audience who you want to read your post.....otherwise why post it?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but surely one of the aims of ATS is the respectful exchange of opinions supported by reasoning and evidence......or maybe you see it differently?

What does that have to do with anything regarding Putins war and invasion of Ukraine?

And you do realise Sean Connery is pan bread son so probably does not think much to be honest never mind about Serbia.

Keep up.

NATO's involvement in Kosovo stems from the conflict that erupted in the late 1990s.

Quick note its 2024.

Welcome to the party.

Dear God, here we go about Kosovo again. What does it have to do with the US selling (mind selling, not donating) weapons to their allies? Can't sovereign countries buy weapons? Is Russia only allowed to have them and shift completely to war economy?

I swear I know what your next reply will be about. Let me guess... cockroaches?

That damned Chechnya. And Georgia... Maybe you remember how peaceful Russia dealt with them too.

13 March Update

The rate of Russian advance west of Avdiivka has recently slowed, although Russian forces likely retain the capability to intensify offensive operations in the area at a moment of their choosing.

Ukrainian actors conducted large-scale drone strikes against energy infrastructure and military assets within Russia on the night of March 12 to 13. Ukrainian outlets Suspilne and RBC-Ukraine reported on March 13 that their Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) sources stated that SBU agents conducted drone strikes against oil refineries in Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Leningrad oblasts and military airfields in Buturlinovka and Voronezh City, Voronezh Oblast.

Russian forces recently made confirmed advances near Avdiivka amid continued positional engagements along the entire frontline on March 13.

Russians Warned to Flee Border Cities While They Still Can

Anti-Kremlin Russian fighters have begun urging their fellow citizens to abandon their homes in the Belgorod and Kursk regions as part of a militant campaign aimed at ending the war in Ukraine.

The group, made up of three different battalions known as the Freedom of Russia Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps, and the Siberian Battalion, issued a statement Wednesday warning that it would be attacking shortly, urging Russians to evacuate.

“Putin’s killers are carrying out massive attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities, setting up their positions between your homes, your children’s schools and government institutions. Every day, dozens of ordinary innocent people (mostly women and children) die from shelling from Belgorod,” the statement said. “In this regard, we are forced to inflict fire on military positions located in the cities of Belgorod and Kursk.”

We are finally seeing the Russian people fed up with Putin and his "Military Action" against Ukraine.

It's easy to say, "It's about time," but the reality is this is not an easy choice. Many of us in America have been fed up with our government and its choices, but it takes a lot to choose to rise up and stand against the government. There was a small scuffle in Washington D.C. on January 6, 2021. However, I am not sure what it would take for Americans to unite against the government in a sustained assault. We are much too comfortable with our daily routing to care enough.

You have to hand it to these Russians who have made the choice to revolt!

14 March Update

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairperson Dmitry Medvedev posted a detailed call for the total elimination of the Ukrainian state and its absorption into the Russian Federation under what he euphemistically called a “peace formula.”

Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi stated on March 14 that unspecified Ukrainian units that have been deployed to the frontline for a long time have started rotations.

Continued limited raids from Ukrainian territory into Russian border regions will likely force the Kremlin to choose between paying a reputational or resource cost in responding to the incursions.

Russian forces advanced west of Avdiivka and in western Zaporizhia Oblast amid continued positional engagements across the theater on March 14.
