Ukrainian forces conducted counteroffensive operations on at least four sectors of the front and reportedly made gains on June 27. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Ukrainian forces advanced in all active sectors of the front from Donetsk to Zaporizhia oblasts.
The ongoing Putin-Lukashenko-Prigozhin powerplay is not yet over and will continue to have short-term and long-term consequences that may benefit Ukraine. Director of the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardia) Viktor Zolotov announced on June 27 that Rosgvardia will receive heavy weapons and tanks. The announcement indicates that the Kremlin is attempting to address regime security issues that transpired during Prigozhin’s armed rebellion on June 24 – such as Russia’s security forces’ inability or unwillingness to repel a mechanized drive on Moscow.

One things for sure.
The Russian population remained relatively calm. And going forward.
While the herald Zelensky “counter offense” is still “probing” into a crash course.
The "herald" [sic] counter-offensive has been making daily gains of ten times what the Wagner offensive on Bakhmut was making. Instead of 100-200 m/day, the Ukrainians are making 1-2 km/day. Also, it's being reported that the Russians are running out of reserves. The lack luster Russian offensive against Bakhmut took over seven months. How about giving the Ukrainians another four months before you poo-poo their efforts.

The Russian population remained relatively calm.
That calm they shat their pants and welcomed Wagner troops into Rostov completely unopposed and even welcomed them like some sort of liberating force.
Wagner almost got to Moscow with barely any sort of resistance - I bet Putin wished his troops could have made as much progress in Ukraine when they first invaded - and the Russian people seemed in a state of apoplexy wondering what the # was going on.
Good old Putin being the leader from the front we all know he is crapped his breeks and jumped on the first available flight out of Moscow.
That's Russian, resolve, resilience and calmness for you.
And going forward.
Where?

How about no.
Giving more months?
Cmon man.
Russian authorities reportedly arrested Army General Sergei Surovikin on June 28, possibly indicating that the Kremlin intends to purge the MoD of figures viewed as disloyal. Russian opposition source The Moscow Times reported on June 28 that two sources close to the MoD confirmed that the Russian authorities had arrested Surovikin because he chose to side with Prigozhin during the rebellion.
Ukrainian forces conducted counteroffensive operations in at least four sectors of the front. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces are conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction, along the western Donetsk-eastern Zaporizhia administrative border, and in western Zaporizhia.

You've got to be patient in war. Winning a city is worth nothing unless you can hold it and destroy the enemy as well.
Ukrainian forces intensified counteroffensive operations in the Bakhmut area and reportedly made advances on June 29. The Ukrainian General Staff stated that Ukrainian forces seized the “strategic initiative” in the Bakhmut direction and are currently conducting a broad offensive in the area. Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar reported that Ukrainian forces advanced 1,200m in the direction of Klishchiivka (7km southwest of Bakhmut) and 1,500m in the direction of Kurdyumivka (13km southwest of Bakhmut).
Russian and Ukrainian forces continued limited ground attacks south of Kreminna on June 29. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Russian forces conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Rozdolivka (32km southwest of Kreminna) and Bilohorivka (12km south of Kreminna). A Kremlin-affiliated milblogger claimed that Russian forces made unspecified gains near the Serebryanske forest area (5–10km southwest of Kreminna).
"According to the latest data, the occupation contingent is gradually leaving the territory of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. One of the first to leave the plant were three Rosatom employees who were in charge of the Russians' actions.
"Ukrainian employees who signed a contract with Rosatom were also advised to evacuate. According to the instructions received, they should leave by July 5."
It also emphasised that the number of military patrols are "gradually decreasing" around the plant.

If this is true we should soon see an updated map of the new front lines. Or is that already available?
What would be great is a front line map that updates every hour.
