Weismann hasn't worked for the DOJ for two years. The DOJ's lead for this investigation is Jay Bratt. He is the Chief of the Counterintelligence and Export Control Section of the National Security Division.

Then what was his twitter tantrum about?

ETA:

Sure enough, he works for the firm that handled the lehman and gm bankruptcies now.

Every legal analyst is saying how ridiculous Cannon's decision is. I've yet to find a single one that actually agrees with what she did.

Are you watching dems on msm?

Have any of them seen the inventory list?

Are they pretending the J19 declass didn't happen?

Are they claiming that Exec Priv never extends past end of term?

Then they are propagandists, not analysts.

They say the same and worse about any Thomas ruling, so here is my shocked face:

I don't watch the MSM. I don't even have cable. I'm reporting what I'm seeing from law professors and legal journalists on Twitter.

Have you come across a single legal expert that agrees with this decision?

Did they get the docs in the kids bedroom???

Cause you know the magistrate specifically told them to search the kids bedroom?

This whole line of conversation started because someone brought up what Weissmann posted on Twitter and how that somehow implies he's the DOJ's lead prosecutor on this case.

And I'm saying what he posted is consistent with what every other legal analyst is saying.

Based on your deflection though, I'm guessing that means you can find a single legal expert that thinks Cannon's decision is anything but nonsense. That should tell you everything you need to know.

I don't do msm or twatter (which is worse?), my analysis is my own from going through the ruling along with referenced case law and other citations, but I bet somewhere like TGP has some 'experts' that aren't brainwashed if you're into the teevee 'expert' kind of thing.

Just keep in mind that the same experts have been wrong at least 1000 times on your various Get Trump schemes and haven't once been correct yet.

But hey, I'm sure this time it's for real.

Also, twatter has this thing called an algorithm.

It means the twatter is only gonna show you the stuff twatter thinks your particular brainwashing will enjoy.

I don't use the twatter at all unless following links from ATS posts.

Lots of legal scholars recognize the need for a special master.
That you can’t find any means nothing, other than it confirms your bias.

At the very beginning the jackasses in the msm we’re asking about this and wondering why trump didn’t file for one sooner.
As if there were a time limit on requests.
The doj made a big deal about announcing taint teams, why was that genius?
They knew what was coming and required.

This is too freaking funny.
Look who is against general fairness.

The only real consequence so far is that they have to deal with us slapping them in the face with it.

They certainly don't appear ashame or regretful about anything they've done.

The consequences start in November.

You might read this interview in it’s entirety.

DERSHOWITZ: And that’s, you know, not too — you know, that’s after the midterm elections. I don’t know if you’d do it before or after the midterm elections because, just like Comey’s statement probably had an impact on the 2016 presidential election, anything he says could have an impact on the midterm elections.

So far I think that if they were trying to achieve a political goal, it’s backfired. I think this has helped Trump. I think it’s hurt the Democrats. I’m a liberal Democrat. I voted twice against Donald Trump. One of the reasons I don’t want him to be disqualified from running a third time is I want to exercise my fundamental constitutional right to vote against him. I am not a Trump supporter. I’m a supporter of the Constitution. The Constitution is on Trump’s side. And so I’m supporting Trump constitutionally. But, you know, the folks in Martha’s Vineyard and the East Coast don’t seem to understand that. They go back to the days of McCarthy where you associate a lawyer with the lawyer’s client, and that’s just —

There is no truth, no rule of law, just political power and the useful idiots disciples empowered by the thirteen rules for radicals.

And especially in the context of Hilary’s handling of classified material. Any lawyer worth his or her salt is going to show their was a real biased and illegal effort to prosecute trump at any cost.

They faked the MAR A Lago raid, hid the Hunter Biden laptop case and refused to investigate the stolen election.
I would say Trump should just be flown to Washington and be sworn in as POTUS at this point. Biden can spend the rest of his days in a nursing home IF he agrees to turn states witness against his fellow conspirators of high treason. If not, throw his senile dementia ridden ass in prison.
