Glad to see you circle around and around while not even mentioning the blatant double standard presented. Deny ignorance.

What a special master does is reviews documents that could be attorney-client privileged and decides whether that is the case. They make no judgments beyond that.

So if a special master is appointed for executive privilege, all they're doing is determining what documents are executive privileged. As was established in Thompson v. Trump, which this idiot judge even cites in her decision, former Presidents do not have executive privilege.

So, what exactly do you think this special master will achieve other than delaying the case for months?

Apparently showing that some documents should be returned, as they may well be covered by Attorney client privilege. If there is enough evidence to arrest him, now is the time. Waiting until the day before midterms might look a tiny bit fishy, so your argument sounds like it's dumb on it's face.

Could that be her intent?

I'd say she's protecting her ass with the GOP -- which could backfire.

Cheers -- I highly appreciate your efforts.

I think much of this is show by tptb Aka DS because they probably know he didn’t have anything or evidence of any kind and they know that the commoners will believe the fake news and hate Trump some more.

There's two things I'm watching for some kind of indication.

1st is the J6 committee. Any even supposed actionable docs.
2nd is leaks.

Any document that may be attorney-client privileged has been separated. While it would be a little unorthodox to assign a special master (they're usually used in cases where a law firm has been searched and there's documents from multiple clients) nobody was really going to have a problem if one was assigned for attorney-client privilege.

The problem stems from the fact that she is also including a review of all documents for executive privilege based on no sound legal argument. To facilitate this review she is ordering the government to stop their review of the documents.

By the way, there is one little nugget in this decision that I think certain members who claim Trump's constitutional rights have been violated multiple times would be interested in seeing:

(T)he Court agrees with the Government that, at least based on the record to date, there has not been a compelling showing of callous disregard for Plaintiff's constitutional rights,

So if someone isn't POTUS they can share all the top secret info they want?

I'm would not think so.

Your not supposed to read or possess such documentation unless cleared and/or authorized to do so.

Sounds like Trump is trouble and circling the drain.

And it sounds like his sycophants supporters are in a panic hence all the kerfuffle and hullabaloo.

Judge 'stormed ahead like a bull in a china shop' and shredded precedent to protect Trump: Former prosecutor By Matthew Chapman

On Monday, former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman reacted to the news that a Trump-appointed judge in Florida granted the former president's demand to pause the DOJ investigation into the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, pending review by a special master for documents protected by attorney-client privilege and executive privilege.

The particular problem with the ruling by Judge Aileen Cannon, wrote Litman, is the ruling on executive privilege — which he said blows up legal understanding of any standards for when that protection applies.

"If this holds up, it's going to require the minting of a whole new area of law for the scope and boundaries of a former Pres's executive priv interests. How the hell is a Special Master supposed to call balls and strikes? This could be huge delays. I think DOJ needs to appeal," wrote Litman. "Cannon's opinion acknowledges that Rule 41 is reserved for exceptional circumstances and must be exercised w/ caution and restraint. Then she storms ahead like a bull in a china shop b/c it's possible that Trump may turn out to have some undefined interest down the line."

No, the gov't and its simps don't get to complain about precedent now.

We are in unchartered waters.

There has been a showing, just not of “callous disregard “, yet.
When trumps attorneys file the papers it will be shown.

The doj has admitted the fbi has violated his rights.

For you to keep cheering on civil rights violations simply reveals your stance that those who believe differently than you deserve less protection of their civil rights.

Bigot.

This was all a lie. The FBI created the crime scene, inserted their own documents, and then photoshopped the document.

Guess that's a claim that was always going to be made , doesn't make it true though.

just remember if they will do this to Trump of all people

You mean the guy who took Classified documents , says he made an EO on his last day in office to make it OK then refused to give them back ... yeah if it can happen to Trump of all people the it can happen to anyone ... Trump is in trouble and rightly so given the circumstances.

"Gateway Pundit"

You have to know the POTUS decides what are classified NUMBER ONE. Second, POTUS 45 doesn't pack things and have them sent to Mar a Largo. The Gov employees do that... Same ones who wanted to cheat us of his great policies that made the whole world a better place. NOW just look at the mess POTUS 46 is giving the planet. I wanted Ron Paul, but DJT was a damn good man to do the job of exposing the Swamp critters.

Seriously wasn't it some of the same people (being investigated by Durham) that pushed the "Russia Hoax" that did the raid , and now We are supposed to just believe they are actually doing their job correctly and not just trying to nail the guy they've been after for 5 years?

It's right up their alley.
