democrats and fbi, who won't say what he was in posession of improperly, seem to think so anyway.

The rest of us know how little credibility the fbi and democrats have on anything Trump related after so many false accusations that we're waiting for actual facts from actual evidence, none of which has been made public so far, or even presented to a judge.

Special Master fixes that.

So now democrats are throwing tantrums.



My best guess, based primarily on the behavior of dems and fbi and the specific arguements they made in this case (that were rejected by the judge), is that the only documents that they found were the ones from the J19 declass that democrats pretend never happened, plus probably a smaller amount of Exec/Attorney Priv stuff that he was always allowed to possess.

Special Master will find out

There may be Attorney/Client privileged material mixed in with some the classified material. The mixture is proof that the classified material has been mishandled. That is a different issue than the illegal possession.

Attorney/Client privileged material should be separated and returned. The FBI filter team has already been doing this. The only evidentiary purpose of the Attorney/Client privileged material is its location with respect to any classified documents, not its content. The FBI has no interest in the contents. However when found in the same boxes or drawers as classified material, it demonstrates illegal mishandling of that classified material.

NARA is the legal custodian of those documents. Trump is in illegal possession of them. His mixing those documents, classified and non-classified, with other personal material is PROOF that he was aware that they were still in his possession even after he swore (through his lawyers) that no more existed and was trying to hide them. What documents?

The fbi and democrats have only said that there are documents as you describe, but zero evidence or specifics.

The fbi and dems have zero credibility.



These could be almost anything at this point, but I suspect that they are copies of J19 declass & exec priv docs (which dems still pretend didn't happen) and are not at all improper for a former POTUS to possess, which is likely the reason dems fought so hard against a special master.

If the facts were as you claim, there would have been no need for even a minor objection by the Get Trump team, and this whole episode could have been over in a few days.



The J19 declass, if that's the so called evidence, would be perfectly ok for you or I to posess, NARA would even have it on it's web side for anyone to download.

The fact that democrats are working so hard to pretend the J19 declass ever happened is clue #1.

The fact that democrats won't tell anyone what the documents are is clue #2.

The judge even hinted in her ruling that dems have been dishonest both on the amount of cooperation from Trump's legal team, when that cooperation was initiated and which side initiated it, and regarding the improper response time standards quoted to obtain the search warrant.

I'm not so sure dems really want to appeal this, it could still get quite a bit worse.
