It's happened before. 4600 years ago a massive global civilization wiped out, then around 3000 years ago the bronze age collapse which even affected the Greeks, then again 1500 years ago much of europe was reset, then again 600 years ago. Its nothing new, and will happen again. Hang on tight.

But the said as long as line runs in front of house they. Are allowed by state to charge a basic. Rate of 44 dollars a month by state I tried fighting it and state said since it was a city they had the right.

Im at a hotel right now in Park City. Quite literally there is a sign on the bar that says "CASH BAR" in bold caps just as I typed, but they refused my cash, citing they only accept cards since covid. Its not just coins. Maybe they are scared of monkey pox, I dunno, but im annoyed my legal tender i withdrew from their own ATM for their cash bar is not accepted. They won't even touch their own cash ffs.

No problems where I’m at, and you and I both live in the same state. I’ve been using cash and coins quite a bit lately, no shortages or dirty looks from anyone. So to me, it just seems like more doom porn.

I don’t feel pressured to use my debit card, although it’s more convenient for me to do so. I still write the occasional check too.

As far as shoplifters, it’s just gangs taking advantage of short staffed stores. There have always been these gangs, but they’re emboldened by the shortage of workers in these stores.

So again, I’m not seeing the problem here. I know some enjoy doom porn. Whatever floats your boat.

Noticed it massively in the UK lately.

My local tesco only takes card payment except for two tills in the entire shop. Its mental really. The push for a cashless society is glaringly obvious. Its an assault on the little man.

The manager in Tesco didn’t even know himself why they barely accept cash, must have come from much higher up. I have emailed and messaged Tesco asking why but they never respond...

I have always wondered how the illegal drug trade operates going totally cashless. I think cash is still widespread in the USA because we consume the most illegal drugs in the world. Bitcoin and the rest of digital currency. Not necessarily in world banks... It can exist in the dark web and not a trace to be found ... presently.

Illegal brokers known and addressable only by major criminals. They are most likely offshoots of legitimate brokerages that can hide and launder transactions....

This crap has been going on since the invention of BTC.... and has most likely become extremely sophisticated.

It is not going to go away because even the "legitimate" financial institutions always need a backdoor for their criminal customers that need to do banking that can never be seen by the rest of the world. The money they pay for the service is astronomical so there is no way to refuse it.

This is the society we live in. Digital currency is the largest enabler of crime ever.

I certainly hope that this form of currency can be made null, void and obsolete.... but we have created a monster that eats us all every day.

You're so right - I feel sorry for kids just starting out today - the basic structure of our country has collapsed, I've thought many times of how the 'Roman Empire' was huge hundreds of years ago - look what happened to them!
And there are billions more of us now on the planet, the collapse will be worse.

What is their plan once the reset has been completed?
