Well...because I literally watched the video from the live feed. One they fired towards an admin buildings (basically offices) and two the fire was nowhere clise to any of the reactors as seen on the live feed. Also I never saw any heavy munitions fired just small arms and I think a BTR or some such which at most fires 30mm rounds.

You seem to be taking your info from the MSM at face value without question...

That Russian major must be extremely dumb. Why in the world would you wire a nuclear power plant to blow?

Just incredible.

A waste of explosives. Turn the right valves, press the right buttons, then run.

So you can blame it on Ukraine, maybe?

Sort of hard to do if you're not trained to understand nuclear reactors.

I did look and translated it...it was posted by the Ukrainian energy company...not the general.

So its all just more propaganda and lies.

What a surprise.

Is anyone publishing the amnesty International report?

Any major news networks? I bet not.

Ukraine has been caught lying so many times now along with MSM outlets helping push those lies for them...how could you not question what they're saying? Why do you believe this energy company? Your own article starts off using a Proven lie as the opener for this report. That sure doesn't scream trustworthy to me...does it to you?

And Russian propaganda is like, totally trustworthy?

You know, like state run media where any dissenting opinion gets you jailed?

Does that scream "trustworthy" to you?

And you think that is nothing? You don't think there is any problem with the above at all? Right, all normal war tactics 'Let's put a bunch of soldiers with no knowledge on nuclear plants, inside the plant, and let them shoot the place up'.

Btw, the fire was directly in the building next to reactor 5. If you saw the feed then you also must have noticed how they were not aiming at anything at all but just shooting at anything that moved. You also seen how they didn't allow the fire trucks inside to put the fire out. But there was no risk, right?

over here, if there is a fire even near the power plant, the whole area gets evacuated because of the risk

You back someone in a corner and try to infringe on their natural resources and safety and borders don’t act surprised when this is what you get!

Putin backed himself into a corner , he underestimated the resolve of the Ukrainian people to defend their country and the will of the West to stand up to his unprovoked attack on a neighboring country.

His Peter the Great fantasy got the better of him.

Stop saying unprovoked cause u know it wasn't. If Mexico and Canada allowed Russia to come over there and set missile systems, start arming and training the soliders there while the US was having conflicts with them, if Mexico and Canada also allowed Russia to set up 20 bio labs for who knows what reasons all while Mexico installs tons of new laws that directly target the tens of millions of American people that live in one area of Mexico and later on Mexico sends in the army and thousands of government backed Nationlist militias who beat, torture and burn American people to death the US would send in their armed forces to put an end to it as well and all the westernbmedia would be behind the US for all the reasons I mentioned above. THE US would not only attack Mexico they would attack Russia as well for Russia interfering in their affairs and arming an enemy

So Putin intends to create a nuclear disaster on his doorstep because he is losing so badly? Even though he has basically achieved everything he said he wanted to achieve?

This sounds an awful lot like when they said Assad was launching a chemical attack on women and children out of desperation in the middle of a war he was winning. It just makes no strategic sense.

What makes more strategic sense is Russia intends to disable the power plant if Ukraine somehow manages to recapture it. Not this scorched earth lunacy that Putin is on some quest to rebuild the mother Russia and nuke the planet.

Except the thread isn't about any russian reporting...or I would be analyzing that instead. In this thread we are discussing an unsubstantiated claim that russia has rigged a nuclear plant with explosives and threatened setting them off...for which I see no credible evidence...unless you have something more to share.

If Mexico and Canada allowed Russia to come over there and set missile systems,

So we can expect full scale war soon between India and China then? Both have frequent shared border skirmishes and both have nuclear weapons. China has bio labs, India probably won't like that. India has bio labs will China like that ?

Any other nonsense you wish to post

I think it is what it is...and it sure wasn't what they said it was. If you had watched the feed you would have seen the camera was pointed at the russian BTR not towards the site itself. You would need to match the angle up to a satellite pic of the plant to see what direction they fired in...which is what the guy analizing the feed did in this video of it. A fire outside the reactor building is not going to set off any reactors. These things are designed to be much more hardened than that. Also the fire was put out right? So I guess someone put it out yea? You're not really proving much here...
