Ukraine has a standing army of 196,000. Russia has a standing army of 1,000,000. On top of that, Russia is the largest country in the world with an area of 6.6 million square miles.

Please explain how Ukraine would be able to defeat a military more than five times larger than theirs and then hold all that territory.

They are doing a pretty dam good job of thinning the Russian Combat forces for sure. Figures are around 45 thousand dead Russians so far. It was 30 before they got out of the meat grinder up north.

The US has similar numbers to Russia, in total military personnel. Saying you have a million man army does not mean you can put one million people into actual combat!!

The US was stretched thin working I think at its highest was 195 thousand combat forces and even all those were not actual pipe hitters. Probably a hundred thousand actual gun stingers in combat.

Well China can but they would just run out of bullets and water before they got anywhere. Just yell Covid and half of them would turn around and run back anyway lol.

Nobody can hold a country the size of Iraq let alone Russia if the people do not want you there.

They cannot. After 10 to 100 years of war, Ukraine will be heavily depopulated as millions of Ukrainians flee Ukraine. Already Ukraine's population has fallen below 30 million. Russia has population 147 million. It is massive numbers game advantage for Russians and it only gets better for Russians as the war goes on.

Therefore, Ukraine is a threat to Russia.

No , it isn't and the Budapest Memorandum affirms that.
Ukraine gave up its Nuclear arms as part of the deal because they weren't a threat to Russia.

So it makes sense to say it is Russians who are the victims and Ukrainians are the aggressors.

Nope , but it does make sense to say Russia is in breach of the treaty they signed ...again.

2. The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, and that none of their weapons will ever be used against Ukraine except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.
en.wikipedia.org...

Although I don't agree with the attack on Ukraine in some regards, The American DNC and Rhinos have long been making Russia their enemy, and not necessarily the American people, and having said that, those same people in the USA have a lot of dirty laundry happening in the Ukraine and financial interests, likely not much of it above board. That's the only reason the MSM and those people went all out hog wild when Russia invaded, because it threatens those interests.

There are those biolabs near the Russian border that were in violation of the agreement as well, and likely a whole long list of other things giving Russia the green light to be pissed.

But that isn't why US interests made a fuss and are censoring anything related to ANY reason Russia might have for invading, it's all because of their money laundering machines well established in the Ukraine that is causing all the censorship. The American government is OVERWHELMINGLY corrupt right now, and up to their blind eyeballs in deceit, lies and massive censorship and propaganda when it comes to what's happening in the Ukraine and Russia.

Who are the real victims? Ukrainian civilians, (Not the corrupt Ukraine government). Russian citizens and American citizens, and the populations of the rest of the world affected for the worse because corrupt people like Biden and the US media, CIA, NSA, FBI department of dog Justice, etc are covering up massive corruption. That is the real source of where the misery is coming from.

In 1991 Ukraine had more than a third the population of Russia. Ukraine was the second most powerful country in USSR. After USSR dissolved in 1991, Ukraine immediately became the top threat to Russia. Ukrainians believe they are the heir of Kievan Rus, that they must reunite all Rus under a single Kiev hegemony. Therefore, Ukraine is a threat to Russia. Just as Israel attacked Arabs in a preemptive invasion in 1967, Russia attacked Ukraine in a preemptive invasion in 2022. So it makes sense to say it is Russians who are the victims and Ukrainians are the aggressors.

I came across as rude.
None of us have the luxury of cherry picking facts if we are in search of honesty and truth. That's all I am looking to find. Perfectly fine with being wrong and corrected.

Where's my horn? ahh... here we go,

"Going West means selling out to China"

China does what China thinks best, for China.
It has no other consideration.
They certainly have no allegiance or affinity towards Russia.

Why would that surprise anyone?

Nice try kiddo.

Exactly, everyone seems to be using the "Russia and China are buddy buddy" lense...

But the only people feeding the Dragon the resources it needs (energy) so we (US) can get our hands on a little rare earth minerals in exchange (big money to be made here)... and the US and EU elite can keep living high on the hog and the status quo doing business in China at societies expense.

The problem is China and US are a little too buddy buddy under this Democrat administration.

keep your eye on the ball

Ukraine don't need China for rebuilding. Zelensky can order his million men army to build for free considering they are not paid any salary anyway.

Yes. Russia is China vassal. Russia needs China for high tech products such as CPU. In turn, Russia is China's sword to fight Anglo Saxon hegemony.

It's called "poking the bear".

What Nato did wrong with Russia is they did the opposite of what happened with Japan in WWII. When Japan unconditionally surrendered, not only did the USA invest in their infrastructure (not go in and directly "rebuild" like in Iraq, which would have deprived them of their sovereignty).

The USA also made sure Japan knew they were now America's military ally.

Russia has been continuously driven to the outside. Nato knows it needs a "bogeyman". And has always wanted Russia to fill that role, so never quite let them in.

But that isn't why US interests made a fuss and are censoring anything related to ANY reason Russia might have for invading, it's all because of their money laundering machines well established in the Ukraine that is causing all the censorship. We all know there is something going on, ever since Burisma Gate. When the whole DNC came together to stop any attempt to get Zelensky to investigate Hunter Biden. No way that much of a party comes together on a visibly weak premise, unless they have something to hide.

I've always looked at this from the other side, of them wanting Ukraine to fall in its entirety. That way there won't be any investigation. Too many ashes to sift through, and no living witnesses.

I'm sure Putin was fed a lot of false intel. He's older than he used to be. Not as sharp anymore. And probably thinks his FSB is as good as the old KGB.
