Difference is "polite society" pushed the undesirables to the fringes -- resulting in "fringe cultures".

Why would the homosexual culture be sexual in nature? Because that's what they couldn't openly do.

Since homosexuals have, for the most part, been accepted in society -- many "gay bars and establishments" have closed. They don't have to live a clandestine life any more.

Heterosexuals were not out in public humping each other, nor were we trying to get anyone to accept that they should be OK with us openly doing so. We kept those aspects of our lives personal and private. We mostly appeared together in public as couples and families with hints at most.

When homosexuals said they wanted acknowledgment and that what happened in their bedroom was their business, this is what we were expecting.

Instead, they brought their bedrooms into the public eye and now our bedrooms are being drug out in the open too. It's not a good thing.

its simple, back then sharing information was very difficult still and making then showing video was very expensive and not many had TV's because it was so expensive, therefore nobody was all that willing to waste time on frivolous content, plus the fcc regulated tv and video but regan removed those regulations because it was unconstitutional, if it was cheap and easy and no regulations existed and it was easy to find and share information i have no doubt they would have been just as bad if not worse than modern day.

its much harder to control people when they have cheap and convenient means to acquire and share information, societies and cultures change over time anyway but the Internet made the changes happen faster than normal. heck even the founders knew things change quickly, its why amendment process was included, to allow laws to adapt to the times but its not been used like it was supposed to be so laws aren't keeping up with the changes, what was normal in 1950 was based on ignorance and propaganda like most of history, by individuals who were afraid of change endangering their position in society.

It is all by design. The attack has come from every angle, every facet of life, community and family have been targeted. Quite brilliantly it is difficult to argue against rights for women, love is love etc etc. however the erosion of values and the fostering of tolerance for most everything has seen us slide towards the abyss.

People are generally good, but groups of people can easily be swayed to bad. We are so easy to convince and control.

Once all the bonds and strictures that tie us together are broken we are nothing more than fodder for those controlling us.

Britain, once the most powerful empire on earth is no derided and looked down upon by most everyone. The same is happening now to the USA. Most everyone hates the place and anyone from it. Even in the USA voices and movements erode its once proud heart. We are all being pulled down.

let's look at your general argument and set the details aside. The idea that we can't select the ideas from various sources to believe in isn't correct. This is the argument of extremists.

Being able to support some ideas from a person/group/ideology allows one to put together greater ideas than prior generations. Putting together the best ideas from various groups allows us to evolve even better ideas. This cycle allows for societal evolution over time.

Yes, sometimes, society can devolve, for which their on many reasons for. Modern tech and the creation of echo chambers play a large part in that.

For example, I support the founders of the United States but don't support slavery or limiting women from participating in the world/government.

The example of it's all or nothing only causes more divide.

Moving on to the details of your argument.

Not everyone who is left leaning supports the ideas you propose. In fact, it's only a small, vocal subgroup. Equating everyone on the left with those ideas only serves to alienate them, and yourself, from your position. When the extremists on the other side do the same, the cycle reiterates.

There is a middle ground that should be respected, as that middle ground is usually quite reasonable.

I invite you to listen to others, wholly, before attacking. You may find they are not as extreme as you initially made them out to be.

You bring up an interesting point - we are living in an area with very few Americans left, and we are treated like we don't belong, it's not happy or pleasant. And I hear all kinds of comments about us Americans, I constantly feel as if we have to get out of their way, they have taken over completely. Iggy Pop talks about sex with a 13 year old in one of his songs. Many of the rock songs in the 70s and 80s were about sex. Videos of half naked women slinking about. Robert plant making sure his manhood is front and center in his tight jeans, lead singers gyrating against a microphone.

However you're outraged about some women owning their sexuality? Do their songs talk about sex with young boys? No. Not saying any ATS members here, and saying this as a woman I think unfortunately many men so upset by this on social media unfortunately have never experienced a wap nor do they even know to make that happen.

If you don't like it don't watch. I hate to break it to you but after listening to teenager discussions, even young teens, many think it's funny to send outlandish porn links to each other. I think a music video is not as concerning regarding what youngsters have access too.


This is why you have open and honest discussions with your children. This is why you teach your morals as much as you can, but this is also why you listen to them with an unjudgemental ear. It's still possible to raise good, respectful, responsible young people, who have actually seen or watched or even like singers or videos like that. It may be a shocking thought to some of you, but it's true.
