Not blaming any gun owners
But blaming the easy access to guns in US would be something to consider.
Making it far more likely some of these million of guns in circulation will end up in the wrong hands
If you disagree with that.. look at these numbers and ask yourself what makes US stand out

Can you imagine hearing or reading this story about a mentally ill person who attempted to kill their own grandma, then planned out and went to an elementary school to murder as many children as possible... and the thing that makes you angry is the gun. Not the mentally ill person intent on murdering children, but the gun. I'll never understand that.

What in the flying F does this have to do with this shooting? His Hispanic name? He was a born American citizen with legally purchased weapons.
Your assessment isn't wrong, but to move back to Japan right away way over this? seems like a tad bit of an overreaction.

Important news. I'm sure the repub talking heads will blame this all on the democrats and Bill Clinton's wicked and vile ways in the White House.

How did the people get this way? Those reasons are what really needs to be addressed.
The internet and violent video games. It's no coincidence that the most popular games are mostly multiplayer shooters.

My wife has hated the U.S. ever since I brought her here. It really has become a 3rd world craphole when compared with Japan.
Meanwhile we do have stabbings galore, so the ID crap only stops normal people trying to get kitchen knives.
Anyone born here can still do a long stint. How about that?

In Massachusetts, to buy a gun, you need to take a 4 hour gun safety class, character reference from 2 people , and a 1 on 1 interview with a police officer and they have the LOWEST GUN RATE DEATH in America...imagine that

So he wasn't illegal, just a mentally ill Latino domestic terrorist? Got it, noted.
