The only way to stop mass murders would be to have such a society which is what democrat leaders want, and BTW plenty of states have open carry and people don't kill each other willy nilly...

Third, even in democrat cities and states which have very strict gun control laws, gun crimes not only occur but are common. Enforcing even the well over 20,000 state and Federal gun control laws, not counting county and city gun control laws, would require an increase in police officers equal to the amount of criminals committing such crimes. The U.S. would become a "militarized under Martial Law nation." Which again it is the goal of democrat leaders and the global elites.

As for "everyone having guns..." Again we are not talking about arming criminals, but law abiding people... As it is in the U.S. up to 2.5 million Americans use guns defensively each year. More people defend their lives and those of family and friends with firearms, including AR-15s than people that are murdered with firearms.

You also don't share a border with a country ran by drug cartels, human trafficking, firearms trafficking, etc... Still your country is overrun by criminals... Do you think knives cannot be used to murder children and adults?... Your country is full of criminals that use knives. You should look up what crimes sprees have occurred in countries like China... Including crimes in schools against children and teaches...

If you ban every object, everything which can be used to murder people you would still have mass murders of people killing people with their bare hands... Lots of criminals get buffed like tanks with all the time they have in their hands. Your regular Joe and Jane would be easily murdered by the hands of your regular criminal.

Again, banning OBJECTS will not stop mass murders. Criminals can use molotov cocktails, criminals can use cars, criminals can derail that "green train" you ride every single day with thousands of other people...

Murderers and criminals will never be stopped from committing crimes, including murder... That's a fact people have to live with.

The population of New York from 2016-2020 was exactly 7,417,224... so 7.4 million.

So I wonder what gives?... If murders in the UK are not that bad as you claim, whether with or without guns, why have the number of murders in London exceeded the number of murders in New York, which is one of the worse places for crimes including murder in the U.S.?...

We don't have guns any longer in the same too the similar manner they are prevalent in the USA nor ever did, how come what happens over there does not transpire with anywhere near the same frequency as across the pond?

The difference is guns and the easy access to such and you know it.

You have gun control laws, and even with your gun control the crimes with guns have been increasing ever since the 1999 gun ban. But even then, the murder rate in London surpasses the murder rate of New York, one of the worse places with crimes and murders in the U.S. But you want to argue: "eerrrr...because, because, guns are bad... murders with knives are not that bad...." Its a huge part of our history and culture. I also think our culture is a more aggressive one compared to others and that too comes from how we came about. America is also the 3rd largest country in the world too, so we have more stuff in general. For most who have guns it is protection, sign of individual rights, hunting, sportsmanship and if # goes down we got our guns. I live near Portland but in an hour I could be hunting big game, can you say the same thing in the UK? And yes that is your opinion. One of our big issues is the left doesn't want to own the issue and fix it like the right does. All they say is ban guns, and that isn't the answer. I agree too many bad people have guns, so fix it... But tell me what really needs fixing the most when 10,000 deaths out of 16,000 are gang on gang fighting and out of those 16,000, or even 40,000 total with suicides is about 200 at best are from your evil AR? So we ban ARs, get rid of all of them, and that 40,000 does not go lower a single death.

As to school mass shootings if we look past all the political hyperbole there has been 13 total since 1965 where 4 or more people have died, and a good number of them the AR was not used. That is 13 people sick enough to do it out of 100s and 100s of millions of people. We can all agree that 13 is still horrible, but it is almost impossible to stop a person from killing if that is what they want to do. A truck on a busy sidewalk can take out 50 people quickly and drive away, as example.

But in every case like this we talk about guns guns guns and not the dozen of whys that happened during this event and whys that happened up to years before to where that guy ended up in a classroom with the mental level to want to kill as many kids as he could.

Actually, London's murder rate has and can surpass the murder rate of New York. Both of which have a similar population number. But people like "andy06shake" just want to argue that "murders with guns are worse than murders with other tools. It seems that "andy06shake" is scared of even the words "gun" and "firearms."

People who look at the facts would logically conclude that guns are just tools, just like knives, and are not the problem. Which is why London murders can, and have surpassed murders in New York.

I also know the last example of a country to voluntarily hand in their weapons as a knee jerk reaction to a mass shooting was New Zealand. How did that work out for them during the pandemic.

Knife crime in Glasgow was rife when I was growing up. Everyone I went to school with would carry a blade from around the age of 13 upward. I lost two friends to stabbing, many more to suicide and even more to drugs.
