So Another billionaire oligarch enriches another bunch of billionaire oligarchs.

Yay 'Free speech'.

I fully expect Twitternazi to be as fascist as ever.

Gotta be honest, at first I really thought he was trolling and Rick Rolling twitter, and was enjoying the show. And after watching “Return to Space” on Netflix, I’m a total fan girl.

something quite delicious about the left totally freaking the fu@k out, warms the evol part of me

Until people are unbanned and that code is released, its all just a business move.

Well it's official now. Twitter has accepted Elon's offer.
Wonder how long before anyone see's a difference on Twiiter?

It will take a little while to iron out the kinks, but I'm sure you'll see some small differences relatively fast.

Elon has his work cut out for him.

Right. Musk is a businessman first. He didn't get where he is today by wasting money. He thinks there's a market or he wouldn't have bought it.

Musk owning twitter is not necessarily a bad thing for Trump.

Technically it is. DWAC, the SPAC tied to Trump's social media platform, has already seen its stock fall 13% today.

Remember way back when the usual suspects wanted to get rid of Citizens United ?

Then came along an orange guy with bad hair, tiny hands and said mean things on twitter.

Musk reaches deal to buy Twitter for $44 billion

Guess I will gloat a little.

Following reports that Elon Musk may be nearing a deal with the Twitter board to buy the company, leftist “verified” accounts on the platform once again went into meltdown mode at the prospect of the Musk, the self-described free speech absolutist, taking over

Bwhahahaaaaaa!

MSNBC CNN and Joe Biden thank God for Vladimir putin.

He gives them the necessary distraction from having to report so much bad news for democrats.

If no one wants to start a threat on that subject, I will later today.

I have a feeling in a year or 2 Twitter will be pushed aside by the next narrative control platform...the shares will pump for a while off the hype musk always generates then slowly it will fall and keep falling until twitter is a myspace.

I can't see how twitter will stay relevant with TikTok breathing down it's neck.

Twitter is like the old IRC channel of yesteryear.

Progress and all.

The A holes at Twitter probably just wanted to cash out while the getting was good.

Twitter can be wildly monetized. Also, among all his other interests, it alignes perfectly with his brain chip and marketing.

Still havent and likely still wont sign up for twitter.

Part of the reason the Board changed their tune so quickly once Musk announced he had secured funding is because Twitter has their quarterly earnings call this week and the news isn't expected to be good.

I wonder how Zuck is taking all this in. Facebook is dying. Tik Tok and Twitter are growing.

Theres alot left on the table when it comes to monetization for twitter.

Plus if the past two elections are any indication, usership would climb substancially if some folks were unbanned.

CNN for example did VERY well covering the campaign and president of a man they openly despise. Now that hes gone, they are close to done.

Cause they rigged for the last election for a CLEAR LOSER.

I hope they go bankrupt.

What shares? Once this deal goes through Musk becomes the sole owner and Twitter becomes a privately owned company.
