Russia's mistake was to underestimate the West's unity and resolve in supporting Ukraine against Putin's disaster of an invasion.

US is sending 18 more HIMARS in latest aid package.

The package includes funding for 18 of the High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System, or HIMARS, and ammunition for them, and 12 Titan systems, which are used to counter drones.

To be fair, who gives a # about the optics if it puts a stop to the war?

Alternatives include a prolonged and bloody war in Ukraine with possible hundreds of thousands of deaths?
Possibly even limited, tactical nuclear exchange and all that entails?
Global WWIII with catastrophic consequences for everyone?
Or even MAD?

If Trump's offer were to lead to an end to this senseless war with a lasting and workable peace then I could put up with the massive ego boost it would provide him.
I could put up with him parading himself around the world declaring his greatness to everyone to hear and see.
Its the sort of recognition his ego absolutely craves for.

He'd be truly insufferable, but so what......the alternatives are far worse.

A lot of stuff is made in China sure but the ideas are from elsewhere... Russia and USA I would believe are quite ahead of China even though China has 1.6 Billion people no one is conducting those kind of land invasion wars any longer.

China is perfectly capable of designing simple drones like these from scratch.

The Multi-Mission Radar (MMR) is a highly mobile, stand-alone radar that provides the soldier with multi-mission target acquisition in a single system.

It addresses air defense surveillance, air traffic control, counter-battery and fire control requirements. The MMR can cover 360 degrees in azimuth, and has a full electronically scanned array antenna that scans in both azimuth and elevation.

Ukraine appears to be developing the tools for Crimea now, this latest round is mostly unnecessary to retake the rest of Ukraine.

Ukraine is working on the legalities of granting them Ukrainian citizenship if they surrender soon after entering Ukraine.

But that is a real problem.

Thats why that guy shot that recruiter a few days back... attempted man-slaughter in ruZZia from what i gather only has a 6 year sentence (roughly). When its easier to skip the draft with a shorter jail sentence by nearly killing someone than refusing you know things are screwed.

Just watched a vid on Twitter of a ruZZian soldier smoking and chatting with some 'other' soldiers all friendly, he mentions its the first time seeing troops at his location, the other soldiers say the same thing... only they add that they are Ukrainian Soldiers lol...

The look on the guys face when they say it is priceless... god I hope that videos genuine, its so perfect.
