The War in Ukraine could change Everything
Russia and Ukraine are the only producers of palladium and neon, which are essential for the production of microchips.
Before the war his main goal was to create a "state in a smartphone", where 100% of government services would be offered online. Now that project is on hold, with every muscle strained on the digital war effort.
He has piled pressure on multinational companies to boycott Russia.
Apple, Google, Meta, Twitter, YouTube, Microsoft, Sony, Oracle... no tech giant has not been sent an official government letter.
In a press conference on Friday Viktor Zhora, deputy chairman of the State Service of Special Communications, which works closely with Fedorov's department, defended the decision to rally hackers against Russia.
He said he welcomed illegal cyber-attacks on Russia from all groups, including the Anonymous hacking collective, because "the world order changed on 24 February" when the invasion started.
E-residency ā is the status that allows foreigners or stateless persons over 18 years of age to obtain qualified electronic trust services, electronic services and to open bank accounts in Ukraine, according to the explanatory note to the draft law.
The government has already received 1,300 preliminary applications for e-resident status from various countries,ā said the minister of digital transformation Mykhailo Fedorov in Telegram.
DiiaĀ is a Ukrainian electronic service of public services, developed by the ministry of digital transformation of Ukraine. It is a mobile application with digital documents and a portal with public services.
Ukraine is strongly committed to digital transformation. The EU supports Ukraineās further digital development to raise the countryās competitiveness, improve electronic public services for Ukrainian citizens and businesses and foster approximation with the EU Digital Single Marketā, saidĀ Ambassador Matti Maasikas,Ā Head of Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.
We are grateful to the EU for supporting Ukraineās digital transformation. For more than a year, the team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation has been building a digital state. One of our goals is to create convenient government services. We have already launched the mobile application and portal of electronic services Diya, introduced the worldās first digital passports and shortened business registration into 15 minutes.Ā
The digitalization of daily life in Ukraine continues. On March 30, the Ukrainian parliament passed legislation that recognizes e-passports as official documents and provides them with the same legal status for domestic use as their more traditional paper cousins. Parliamentās groundbreaking vote is a major step towards the creation of a truly digital Ukrainian state, a goal which has been the key focus of the Ministry of Digital Transformation since its creation in 2019.
On June 21, the Presidential Administration of Ukraine held a discussion of the concept of "A state in a smartphone" as one of the important components of the digital economy.
Advisor to President Mykhailo Fedorov presented a digital action plan and a basic framework for the digital economy: from digital infrastructure to digital skills and implementation of digital transformation projects.
. āA state in a smartphoneā is an opportunity to solve all these situations in one click and preferably with a smartphone where a person will have a personal electronic signature. The same applies to business. In practice, all this is about 200 public services that we will make electronic and unite in life and business situations. In addition, there is a need for online social surveys,ā the advisor noted.
The youngest minister in the history of Ukrainian politics, Mykhailo Fedorov, at the age of 30, managed to succeed both with opening his own businesses as well as with leading the country's digital revolution. Innovator and visionary who, jointly with a team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, is building the digital state.
Already in the first year of the Ministry's operation, Mykhailo Fedorov and his team launched a mobile application and website ā Diia: as of now more than 10 mln Ukrainians are using it. Ukraine became the first country in the world to fully legalize digital ID in smartphones, as well as a country with the worldās fastest business registration.

Ok... Biden didn't even make the statement about a long difficult road ahead. Jen Psaki said it. The picture is irrelevant...but you said that wasn't "Bidan". Who's Bidan?
