Tulip mania (Dutch: tulpenmanie) was a period during the Dutch Golden Age when contract prices for some bulbs of the recently introduced and fashionable tulip reached extraordinarily high levels, with the major acceleration starting in 1634 and then dramatically collapsing in February 1637. It is generally considered to have been the first recorded speculative bubble or asset bubble in history. I'm not good with Chinese, but I think the last four symbols are 京城抟媒 (Beijing Tuan Media). Besides the Chinese characters, you can tell by the building style that it is in China. I can't tell what building specifically, but the picture appears to have been taken from inside another building based on the elevation and glare (behind a window). The clock shows exactly 6:59 and 22 seconds (give or take a second). I don't know what the first symbol is, and I don't know if it is AM or PM because I don't know when their sunrise takes place.

But by yesterday's closing bell the share price is 17% below his initial offer.
