There are always 3 sides to any matter, one side, the other side and the truth:
Please take the time to listen to her all the way through. We seem to be forgetting that Ukraine does not belong to neither Russia or the US or Nato.
We also seem to be forgetting that the west in 2014 helped Ukraine spark their own national socialist party.
And we don't seem to be very good at keeping a woke eye to what those forces have been doing and commiting in Ukraine since then.
A few highlights from this former Ukrainian presidential candidate:
- Ukraine consist of people who speak ukrainian and people who speak Russian. (just like Canada with English and French)
- Ukraine has since 2014, been censoring the local broadcast of local Russian speaking tv.
- Since 2014, Ukrainian national socialists /nazis, have been on the rise, without governmental put down and with no comments from the west.
- Her party wants Ukrainian sovreignty to be respected, the nazis stopped and Ukraine helped to be a unified Ukraine with respect to all, regardless of language, sex, any criteria, and to respect that some parts have relations to Russia.
- She wishes for Russia, China, US and Germany to meet at the table and reach a settlement.
We also seem to forget that Russia and the US share a border north of the Pacific.
Im no Putin fan, but if you placed yourself in space and looked at the Earth objectively as the GLOBE it is.
It's the US and Nato that has bases around Russia, not Russia that has bases around the US.
Then ask yourself once again; what would I do if I was president of a country in Russias position?

Didn't the current leadership in the Ukraine overthrow the legitimate leadership there ?
Yes but the way I remember it, that government (Viktor Yanukovych's) that was over thrown was a Russian Puppet.
The video was retweeted by investigative website Bellingcat whose founder Elliot Higgins wrote: "As predicted, it looks like the Russian military is aiming to take Kyiv as quickly as possible."
"At this rate Russian troops could be marching through Kyiv before the EU, UK and US has implemented any sanctions," he added.

And now we are one errant missile hitting Poland away from a full-scale war.
Kiss your kids and grandkids. We will not be leaving them the world I parents left us. I pity them actually.

It does seem that the Ukrainian armed forces Ed are being smashed, but we will see. Conventional war on this scale has not been seen in Europe since WW2. The Balkans was nothing by comparison - although fierce and sectarian.
Trouble is this is a three pronged invasion and Ukrainian forces will likely be surrounded. They need to either organise to fight back properly or stand down. Withdrawing to a defensive ring around Kyiv would make more sense, so they can concentrate what they have.
This could so easily spill out of control and still makes zero sense from Russia’s perspective. It is an insane move. Crippling sanctions and economic blocs will likely force Putin further - and then we will see very serious problems.
This really is not the time for Russian-aligned posters to excuse Putin. It is indefensible. We are all world citizens and we should all stand together against such insanity.

I wonder what talking points the Russian contingent on here have been given to claim this is justified.
That Ukraine had a coup 8 years ago and the guy who took over persecuted ethnic Russians who are now in danger from a Ukrainian attack.
Which is more or less the truth.
