It's already a full scale invasion. This is no longer just focused on the two disputed oblasts and Russia now has troops invading from Belarus and Crimea.
If a three pronged attack that is leading to shelling/bombing occurring in many major cities in the country isn't a full scale invasion, then what constitutes one?

I wonder what talking points the Russian contingent on here have been given to claim this is justified.
Tomorrow, I will meet with my G7 counterparts in the morning and then speak to the American people to announce the further consequences the United States and our Allies and partners will impose on Russia for this needless act of aggression against Ukraine and global peace and security. We will also coordinate with our NATO Allies to ensure a strong, united response that deters any aggression against the Alliance. Tonight, Jill and I are praying for the brave and proud people of Ukraine.

Based on the high level of B-2 activity I heard over the skies of mid-Missouri yesterday, I think I have an idea where this is going.

And yet Yanukovych was legally impeached for losing control of the country after he betrayed the will of the people by turning his back on a deal with the EU that had been in the works for years.
Also, the guy who was elected to replace Yanukovych, Poroshenko, is no longer President. In fact, Poroshenko was beaten by the current President.
Finally, Russia has trotted out the "persecuted ethnic Russians that are now in danger of ethnic cleansing" line for his past three invasions. He has never once been able to backup those claims when asked to by the UN.

That's hardly an acceptable casus beli and definitely not the truth as Putin has had designs on Ukraine since at least 2013.
Besides, money is not going to be here justification given. To these people Putin is above such base things, despite possibly being the richest man in the world and friends with many of Russia's corrupt autocrats.

Putin can't be stopped in Ukraine militarily. That's just the bottom line.
What we can look forward to are the tell-alls that are going to come out against the US Democrats. Hunter Biden and The Bug Guy's corruption are going to be making headlines within weeks.
ReeeeeHeeHeeHee
I'll bet if B2s rolled down runways, the pucker factor increased several degrees. HAHAHA

The only response he SHOULD have is to at best to Condemn Russia and putin, and then promptly STAY THE EFF OUT OF IT!

Ukraine should be training up their citizen on guerilla tactics as I think the Russians are there to stay. Their stay should be made uncomfortable until they leave.
It would be folly for any other nation to intervene militarily.
Day late and a dollar short I'm afraid. One of my military buddies over there told me yesterday that Ukraine (at the last moment) eased restrictions on citizen's right to own and possess firearms. Of course, the restrictions on ATMs to amounts less than $180/day followed. How stoopid. -chuckle-

If it was OK for the US in Kosovo
Is this on the excuses crib sheet handed out?
Frankly it’s incomparable to what Russia is doing in Ukraine - more in line with the idiotic adventures in to Iraq if anything. However, as Kosovo is European it serves as somewhere with more geographical significance to the events unfolding.
This is an absolutely ridiculous move by Putin, making NO logical sense in any way. NATO has not and would never have attacked Russia. Other countries bordering Russia are already in NATO. Economic sanctions in Russia will be massive and vastly damaging. There is no guarantee Putin wins. NONE of it makes any sense militarily, politically or economically. Perhaps, then, Putin has indeed lost his mind.
Region declares independence, central government cracks down on then, larger power steps in to support new state.
Similar to me.

I could say why has taken a territory from Syria Golan heights? with no one stopping them? putting sanctions?
claim this is justified
Was Kosovo, Golan heights justified?
I've yet to be invited to the party. Would decline if the phone rang though. No way I'd want to get in-between two groups who'd like nothing other than to add me to the body count. Not sure if the Ukrainians have the heart for it. I think a LOT of 'em like Russia ... and there ain't nothing wrong with that.

It's never too late to fight a guerilla war. It all depends on the will of the Ukrainian people. As i said, Russia is there for the long haul.
