2 are videos. Just FYI

That wasn't a mortar that was a cannon round. As I said they have done quick strikes before aimed at civilian centers. You can believe it or not. There are probably a hundred videos showing it. There have even been video that they made and posted of them shelling civilian centers on purpose.

They post videos of themselves torturing people and murdering people. What is a shelling an apartment building to them? This has been a daily thing for over 8 years.

Update. 6 are critically injured 1 dead.

That's what I said, this looks like an artillery miss.

A scoot & shoot by Ukrainians would most likely be mortars.

Ukrainians aren't driving artillery around where russian planes can bomb them, they're carrying mortars through the woods in small squads.

I understand your desperation to find evidence that some parts of the russian propaganda are true, but this just isn't it.

Make it make sense then. A single artillery miss with no follow up no correction no point to it.

I wasn't an artilleryman but I was in an artillery battalion for two years, They can absolutely shoot and scoot. They don't need much time especially if they are not too concerned about where they are shooting.

Don't try to bull# me.

Germany is preparing for hard times.

"There are currently no supply bottlenecks," explained Habeck. "Nevertheless, we must increase precautionary measures in order to be prepared in the event of an escalation on the part of Russia." A crisis team came together when the early warning level was declared. "The crisis team analyzes and evaluates the supply situation so that - if necessary - further measures can be taken to increase the security of supply. The federal government is doing everything it can to continue to guarantee the security of supply in Germany."

According to the ministry, the overall supply of all German gas consumers is currently still guaranteed. "Nevertheless, from now on every gas consumer - from business to private households - is also required to reduce their consumption as much as possible."

Germany is in talks with Israel to purchase the Iron Dome missile defense. The setup Germany wants would also cover Poland / Hungary / Slovakia.

Bad rounds happen, and large adjustments are made by less skilled artillerymen like Ukraine is known for.

It could be anything, even a tire falling off a plane, but you started with cruise missile, and I demonstrated how the damaged resembled a single artillery hit, and looked nothing at all like a cruise missile hit.

I also pointed out that Ukraine has not been known for using artillery & armor much in this invasion, but they do use them a little.

They are known for using mortars in shoot and scoots on russian troops, but these are done with only mortars and ATGMs, which this damage doesn't resemble.

Without more information, the photo isn't evidence of anything except that something around the size of an artillery round hit a building once, while the surrounding area was undamaged.

You can make up as many theories as you want, and one of them might even be true, but that's all the photo is ever gonna show by itself.

You tell me to post vids. I don't like that attitude of telling me to do anything.

I didn't bother to tell you where I go it. I am glad you wasted your time.

This is ATS if you are not posting at least some obscure sources then what are you doing here? Most of yall are just regurgitating MSM.

Oooh... That's a slippery slope here. What is ATS for me, obviously, is not the same for you. And that is OK. This is not the subject to discuss on this thread. Maybe you should start a poll to get all the opinions out? (just a 'suggestion', you DON'T HAVE to do it
). Peculiar, indeed.
Btw, were you just not telling me to leave?
Nah, bro, i'm gonna stay for a while, even if you mind. Sorry, not sorry.

If you want to ignore me then do so, but I will keep posting the info I get even if it breaks your MSM worldview.

Nobody ignores you, Grimpachi. Quite the opposite.

No, I did not lie. I posted the information I received nothing more.

I know you really hate anything that doesn't paint your Nazis as good Nazis but seriously wake up.

I 'woke up' today and I can say there are no Nazis in the picture. Just fascists.

I am going to post the pic again and you look in the right hand corner. Can you guess what it stands for?

According to the same logic, this also happened then:

Unless you are going to accuse me of placing a logo I have never seen before today there and erasing it from your source take a chill.

C'mon, nobody has accused you with that and no one will. People, icluding myself, asked for the source. And, as you've stated it aired on a TV, logically, it would have a recording somewhere. Now, If you would not have mentioned a TV bit, we would not have this tedious discussion.

I said it came from Telewizja Polska and as far as I know, it did. Have you ever considered that they may have used a map from another source? No, of course not because that never happens, right.

I did and I WANT TO KNOW THE SOURCE. Jeezus. Is there another way to say it? In droidspeak, maybe?

Is it Russian propaganda when it comes from within Ukraine on the Ukrainian side and a broadcast from Poland? Make that make sense.

Never mind, don't bother, that doesn't make sense.

You've answered your question.

Just want to make sth clear here:

Seems like you are upset I don't take your info for granted.

I am not 'telling you' to stop posting. I do enjoy your posts. To hunt down the sources of yours is like a sport to me

Are you upset about the meme? I'm sorry you feel that way. I have an awful sense of humour. What can I do about it?
Btw, the memes will keep coming. I have yet to exhaust my catalog. It's part of a pop culture these days, ya know?

I ended up sighing a lot. Jeez.

Peace and out.

A Russian site is reporting 3 things of note.

A video of the massacre of a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is published online – terrorist fighters grab him right in the temple and take him away to an unknown destination. Presumably, it was filmed in the city of Smela, Cherkasy region. The further fate of the priest is unknown.

I have been hearing about abductions by SBU I even have a video saved of them administering speech tests to Russian speakers. If they don't say a word some Ukranian words the right way they take them away. Reportedly not to be seen or heard from again.

However this I haven't even heard reports of.

Russia has received written proposals from Ukraine confirming its desire for neutral and non-nuclear status – Medinskiy.

Ukraine gives up its aspiration to return Crimea and Donbass by military means – Medinsky.
link

These two things sound like happened in negotiations. Those are a big deal. I haven't checked if anyone else is reporting.

Telewizja Polska has drawn a new map

It's been established that this map was in fact newly drawn....... in 2014, yes in 2014 it was new. If you were given information that this is new in 2022 then someone lied to you, OR you knew it wasn't and lied in your post. It doesn't really matter, the fact is that, it being new in 2022 is a lie by someone.

It personally does not matter to me as i only know it as disinformation of sorts as it was a proposal that Zhirinovsky was going to forward in Duma.

Also the source was not TVP, but Russia. TVP was reporting on it to mock the Russian effort that never grew legs anyway.

ETA: Lets just go with you had no idea about its origin nor its backstory, and thus just made an honest mistake on your part. It happens. No shame in that.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
At least somebody bothered.
Now I can move on from this smelly pond.

The Ukrainian proposal was expected and discussed a little here both before and after, it did happen.

It's basically what Ukraine offered before the war with a few extra guarantees for Ukraine by western countries. Basically NATO protection without NATO membership.

Russia hasn't accepted it yet, and the talks ended early when Ukraine wasn't interested in certain unspecified russian demands for modifications.

It is a good sign that russia didn't reject it though, the official announcement was that the russian envoy would take it back to moscow for discussions.

I expected russia to immediately reject and publicly complain about it

That is weird that you are saying Ukraine originally offered that.

I say that because it is almost exactly what Russia offered according to Routers back on the 7th to end hostilities.

Did you mean Russia instead of Ukraine offered?

No, that's what Ukraine was proposing before russia even invaded.

Without all the NATO guarantees at that time.

russia has been offering something similar since then, but they always included other terms that Ukraine refused to even consider, like the disarmament of Ukraine.

Here are a couple of plusses for the US if a war broke out.

It would weaken Russia.
It would get the Nordstream 2 gas pipeline shutdown.
The EU would be almost fully dependent on the US for gas imports.
The MIC would get a boost in sales by supplying other nations. How many missile systems have been sold since the start? EU countries are increasing defense spending. The defense contractors here are probably figuring out what their sales bonuses and bribes/political donations should be already.
Russia is the #3 exporter of food in the world. With the sanctions, US farmers are going to be busy supplying the EU to make up for it.
If Ukraine had won then it has one of the biggest oil and gas deposits in Europe ripe for development.

Either way, it goes it is a win-win for the US.

Zelinskyy has stated the territorial integrity of Ukraine is now a non starter.

Putin backed off his no EU / no NATO for Ukraine and is now ok with Ukraine joining the EU but NOT Nato. Ukraine wanted a security guarantee composed of several western and NATO countries (US / UK / Poland / Israel / etc). Should Russia attack again Ukraine could invoke there own "article 5" and the western / NATO countries that sign would have to assist Ukraine in fending off the attack - it would include army / airforce / navy involvement.

Ukraine has also proposed that they could host a foreign military base provided all signatory countries, including Russia, could veto the move.

When the meeting in Turkey ended yesterday the Russian delegation said talks are over with and that they would not be meeting Ukraine's delegation the next day.

Nobody here claimed the invasion was a wise move by putin, for russia or anyone else, everyone paying attention knew it was beyond dumb from the beginning.

There was even speculation that putin had lost his mind because he isn't known for being dumb at all, and this was bad for russia in every way.

But the costs that will be absorbed by the west and the rest of the world absolutely dwarf any benefits that some segments will receive as a result of putin's bizarre decisions.

Do you have a link to them offering that before the 7th?

You do know that it is written into the current Ukrainian constitution that Crimea remains a part of the country.

Azov ad publicly stated before that they would kill Zelensky if he gave up those territories.
In which case Azov being annihilated is a good thing for him.

Which part are you having a problem with?

That the Crimea decision would be put off until 2030, or that Ukraine would agree to not take dombas by force?

Or some other detail?

A Mariupol survivor’s story from the ‘darkest of hells’

Politico

Andrei Marusov, a 50-year-old resident of the southern Ukrainian city of Mariupol, has nearly been killed twice since Russia invaded Ukraine.
The city with a pre-war population of more than 400,000 has been completely encircled by Russian troops since early March. By mid-March, Mariupol was without electricity, running water, heating and gas. Mobile networks were disrupted and battles raged in many neighborhoods.

“People, myself included, put buckets under gutters to collect rain water. When snow fell, people collected it and melted it in bonfires,” Marusov said.

When electricity was cut, nearly all shops closed. “After two or three days, the looting started. When people started to steal from pharmacies, it was a catastrophic blow. Around a third of the city’s population is pensioners, and access to medicines is a question of life or death for them.”

The situation in the city is becoming “more and more of a nightmare,” he said. “The Russians seem to have destroyed our feeble air defense system, and they’ve started shelling the whole city with impunity.”

[...]“The first two entrances to my building were on fire, for some reason. I went to see if the fire would spread to my entrance,” he said. “The Russian troops were already there. They detained me, searched me, found my smartphone with photos of the destruction in the city and a record of the entry of one of the first Russian columns into our district.”

After waiting for several hours with his hands tied, a soldier guarding Marusov asked the military police officer what to do with him. “The officer said: ‘Dispatch him.’ This meant I was going to be shot.”

“And the soldier took me away. I got a chill down my spine. After walking 100 meters or so, it dawned on me: ‘This is it, I’m being led away for execution.’”[...]
