Silly-billy me from SA: but are we talking about "petrol" or "gas"?
Two very different things perhaps in our English.
Although I'm sure they're both increasing.

We got what was voted for.

Dnc and their voters own this.
F all of them.

They'll never admit it, some how to them this is still President Trumps fault.

Admit it?
How can they deny it?

The stuff to fuel cars, but pretty soon we’ll be talking about the stuff to heat homes

Thanks.
But then wondering if the other (gaseous gas) goes up, how is that distinguished from this gas?
I mean just from the point of terminology.

Just trying to say, when Americans say: "Oh my gas bill is so high", we don't always know what they mean.

Yes it is probably confusing for people outside the us.

We call gas the petrol in your car.
In the US homes are heated various ways, natural gas, electric, solar, wood.
That's why we also say gas bill referring to heating our homes, when we say at the pump we mean our cars.

Well, gas prices took another hefty jump here in Central NY this morning. All stations Regular Unleaded are $4.39, $4.34 if you use a gift card. Last week it was $4.19. Way to go Brandon!!

Kudos to you for uploading a photo easily! One day I'll get the hang of doing so easily. The last time I did, it took 20 minutes.

FYI - Joe Biden is one callous dementia sufferer;

When announcing this morning that the United States would stop buying Russian Oil and Gas, but would offset the ensuing price increases by employing other mitigating measures....BIDEN LIED about offsetting the price increases.

When he arrived in Fort Worth, a few hours after telling the nation of the boycott, a reporter asked him what those price mitigation measures are.

Biden replied, "There's not much I can do about the price increases. It's Russia's fault!"

Revelations and common-sense-based food for thought, regarding President Biden "punishing Russia".

So, who exactly are these sanctions aimed at? Think about it.

If you want to identify the target of a penalty, consider who's going to suffer most from it. And in this case, the answer could not be clearer.

It's middle-income Americans. They're the ones who were crushed for two years under COVID restrictions. They're the ones who are about to be pummeled by shutting down more energy sources.

Notice a theme here? The people in charge hate the middle class above all. So, it's not Vladimir Putin who's getting punished, it's American citizens. It's you. It's not speculation.

Sometimes we forget that there's an entire segment of humanity who cheers for higher oil prices.

Those who are major investors: www.wsj.com...

As you see, the WSJ writer is giddy that OIL has risen to $130.00 @ barrel.

Many are the same folks who made a killing from the government throwing Trillions of dollars at Covid-19.

Hey , Good News Today ..........

" Stocks Jump Most Since June 2020 as Oil Prices Fall Sharply "

" The price of U.S. crude oil dropped 12%, the most since November, bringing relief after a sharp runup in crude prices since Russia invaded Ukraine. Big swings have been jerking markets around in recent weeks as investors try to guess how much damage the war will do to the global economy. "

" Crude oil prices tumbled and the slide accelerated amid reports that the United Arab Emirates will urge fellow OPEC members to boost production and ease supply concerns. A barrel of U.S. crude oil dropped 12.1% to settle at $108.70. Brent crude, the international standard, fell 13.2% to settle at $111.14. "

Hasn't reach us yet. Here's today's increase. Was talking to a guy fueling up that works for National Grid and he said they were told to expect gas to be over $5.00 before summer. At this rate well, beat that by early spring. Lets go Brandon!!

Yesterday was 2.10 per litre, was supposed to be another 5-6c increase today, then drop 15c tommorow..wtf is going on?

About 78c per litre here is tax, and our govt has refused to budge on temporary reprieve, while Alberta dropped some tax. Oh, our govt is going ahead with their planned carbon tax increase on April 1st
