Don’t skip breakfast, but watch that you don’t eat a heavy meal. Eating heavily can increase your risk of heart attack fourfold.

Correct. Don't breath or eat and you might survive. As long as you don't make your bed.

Are you seriously citing sources like The Sun and The Daily Express for science news?

They are the UK equivalent of the National Enquirer, with some vague "conservative" politics thrown in.

They have no dedicated science and tech journalists. Zero.

They're great at sensationalising things. That and semi nude women and "celebrities".

Can you put together a similar collection from more serious news sources?

You realize that this will reach exponentially more people than medical journals or serious articles?

The sun has a readership of 33.3million.
Not sure Nature or the Lancet can top that.

Exactly. Big Pharma is using their massive wealth to have the mainstream media push their predictive programming.

Of course everything their saying is true. I realized I breathed too much today and feels like I'm gonna have a heart attack.

One of the news articles you posted about energy bill. Underneath the headline it says children maybe become I'll as well.

If children see their parents freaking out about a heating bill, it will trigger them to have a heart attack as well. This explains the huge increase in child cardiac events we are about to see.

Mystery solved.

Not sure if you're a Brit, but if you are seriously suggesting that "the Sun" is more credible than "the Lancet" when it comes to matters medical, I'm going to laugh at you!

Hope not.

Yes, I am British.
And you misunderstand my meaning.

I do not believe that ‘The Sun’ newspaper is more credible than The lancet or any other scientific medical literature.

Only this.

Being one of the highest circulating newspapers in the Uk, What ‘The Sun’ says matters. It matters to the 33.3million people who read what they print.

I take the train to work every day, and I don’t see issues of “The lancet” discarded on seats. I see copies of The Sun and Metro. Each of whom are pushing nonsense that one too many paracetamols, or skipping breakfast causes heart attacks.

They're getting pretty comical at this point...

chr0naut, did you pen this article for the BBC?

I searched for that headline on the BBC US and Canada website.

Not found.

So, I searched for it on DuckDuckGo.

Not found.

So I searched for it on Google.

Not found.

So, I searched on Yahoo.

Not found.

So, I guess I didn't, and neither did any journalist from the BBC.

Clearly it's a social media fake meme.

Luc Montagnier died. What a loss. RIP
Of course he was very old. But he seemed healthy. I don't know what to think about it.

About heart attacs: Those who had covid are at higher risc.
Based on data 2020. No vaccines yet at that time.
I wonder what will be the result for 2021. Those who are vaccinated + natural infection should take care. I am fairly sure 2021 will do much worse than 2020. Reason? Don't bother about it too much ...

I don't know what the vast majority do - I don't care either.

The Sun and all those other junk websites pay google to target you with heart attack click-bait because they know you'll click on them and look at ads. That's how the internet works.

If I personally wanted to "inform the public" about an issue, I certainly wouldn't be using AdSense. If the issue was real and important, I would probably use press conferences with subject-matter experts who could dumb-down the medical studies so that a layperson could at least have a chance to understand. Obviously that doesn't always work, because apparently people would rather believe click-bait.

Lucky if The Sun actually sells 1 million papers a month. Most of the "Readership" comes from Youtube and other online adverts/video clicks. Watching a video with an advertisement from the sun hardly makes a readership.

Another interesting article on the DMED data.

Blaze Article DMED Data manipulation

Includes the original data graph and also the one which the pentagon changed, so it doesn’t look so bad.
