High-precision air-based missiles of the Russian Air Force have hit 5 areas of manpower and military equipment concentration, as well as 1 ammunition depot near Bakhmut, Donetsk People's Republic.

Operational-tactical and army aviation have hit 18 military assets of Ukraine.

Among them: 2 command posts near Skovorodnikovo in Kharkov Region, 5 areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, 3 ammunition and fuel depots near Dachnoe in Odessa Region.

A large concentration of military equipment from the USA and European countries has been destroyed near the Bogodukhov railway station in Kharkov Region.

The attacks have resulted in the elimination of more than 280 nationalists and up to 48 armoured and motor vehicles.

Missile troops and artillery have hit 44 command posts and 196 strongholds of Ukrainian troops, areas of AFU manpower and military equipment concentration during the night.

Russian air defence means overnight have shot down 13 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near Berezovka in Nikolaev Region, Signalnoe, Luganskoe, Krasnogorovka, Yasinovatoe and Zugres in Donetsk People's Republic, Olgino in Kherson Region, Cherneshchina in Kharkov Region.

3 Ukrainian Tochka-U ballistic missiles and 9 Smerch multiple-launch rockets nave been also intercepted over Izyum city, Kharkov Region.

In total, 152 aircraft and 112 helicopters, 762 unmanned aerial vehicles, 295 anti-aircraft missile systems, 2,895 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 333 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,364 field artillery and mortars, as well as 2,716 units of special military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed during the operation.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation in Ukraine.

High-precision, long-range air-based and sea-based weapons at military airfields near Artsys, Odessa and Voznesensk have destroyed Ukrainian Air Force aviation equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as air defence equipment.

Iskander operational and tactical missile systems have destroyed large concentration of weapons and military equipment delivered from the USA and Western countries, as well as personnel of units of the 58th AFU Motorized Infantry Brigade near Krasnograd and Karlovka railway stations in Kharkov Region.

High-precision air-based missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces have hit 42 areas of concentration of Ukrainian manpower and military equipment near Volcheyarovka, Lugansk People's Republic, as well as 2 ammunition depots near Seversk, Donetsk People's Republic.

Operational-tactical and army aviation have hit 26 military assets of Ukraine during the day. Among them: 2 command posts, 21 areas of manpower and military equipment concentration, 2 ammunition depots and 1 artillery battery at firing positions.

The attacks have resulted in the elimination of more than 210 nationalists and up to 39 armoured and motor vehicles.

The following have been shot down in the air near Zmeinyi Island: 1 Ukrainian Su-24 bomber, 1 Su-27 fighter jet, 3 Mi-8 helicopters with paratroopers and 2 Bayraktar-TB2 UAV. The Ukrainian amphibious assault boat Stanislav has also been destroyed.

Missile troops and artillery have hit 31 command posts and 245 strongholds of Ukrainian troops, areas of AFU manpower and military equipment concentration.

In total, 154 aircraft and 115 helicopters, 764 unmanned aerial vehicles, 296 anti-aircraft missile systems, 2,902 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 333 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,378 field artillery and mortars, as well as 2,728 units of special military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed during the operation.

By tradition, we honour everyone who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our country and Europe and for delivering the entire world from the Nazi threat.

We honour those who fell on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, the victims of the genocide of the Russian people and all other peoples of the Soviet Union, the victims of the Holocaust and the prisoners in concentration camps. The feat of the Soviet soldier is immortal.

Foreign Ministry employees made their contribution to this Great Victory. Many of them did so at the cost of their lives. Their names are immortalised on these walls. We will not forget those who contributed to a common effort on the diplomatic front. This is a major part of the result achieved through the selfless feat of our people.

We must always remember the lessons of history. Even more so since the West is trying to delete these glorious chapters from history and cross out everything that has been accomplished, and not just to equate the victors over Nazism with criminals, but to make us the main culprits of that war, to whitewash Nazism in every possible way, and to encourage Nazi manifestations in modern Europe. We can see this in the Baltic States and Ukraine, where neo-Nazism and new manifestations of anti-Semitism are flourishing under the current Kiev regime with the connivance of the collective West.

A Ukrainian naval corvette of project 1241 has also been destroyed near Odessa.

Operational-tactical and army aviation hit 130 military assets of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In his messages, the President specifically noted that on this day we pay tribute and show our respect to the soldiers and home front workers who crushed Nazism at the cost of innumerable sacrifices and hardships.

“Today, our common duty is to prevent the revival of Nazism, which brought so much suffering to the people of different countries. It is necessary to preserve and pass on to posterity the truth about the events of the war years, and the common spiritual values and traditions of fraternal friendship,” the messages say. Vladimir Putin wished for the younger generations to be worthy of the memory of their fathers and grandfathers.
