Female version of Rod Stewart, I always thought.

Not disparagingly.

Hahaaa! Oh damn that is good!

I've played at drums.
And guitar.
And trumpet.

Now I just mostly listen and appreciate. Still, sometimes my friends who can play let me bang on the drums for a while. I don't mess them up too badly, mostly.

Keep playing forever!

This song just hits me. It takes me right back to the early 90’s.
Still some good stuff 90’s-2000s

My daughter appreciates the good stuff (my albums live in her room now). Every once in a while she tries some new stuff out on me but I'm a tough audience.

My oldest hates the good stuff. Youngest loves it. It is a speaker tornado in my house on the weekends.

Searching back could Jethro Tull have written this in some vision of a dystopian future, for a certain person.

Very Good stuff.

I think there may be a big suit influence there.

An actual music video. With....dancing?

Surprised no one has mentioned it yet....

But the best music awards was the one where Andrew Dice Clay hosted it and there was no tape delay.

He said the seven dirty words and a helluva lot more...got banned for life on MTV after that.

Ha...no.

Oldest has a decent system in her room. Youngest has a decent system in hers. I have what I have in my "getting fat" space (couch).

I just like music more than they do.

I use to have Peter Thorkelson's foot locker sorry can't remember
how I got it. I used it as a kick drum with other crazy stuff to make a drum kit I used
for playing coffee shops when was in town.

Cheers
Ektar

Now how about the Tokens & I could go on in this era I toured with with them &
played with many from that era...who would think as a wee kid in a skating rink
listening to "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" that I would end up touring with them for
4 great yrs!

An actual music video:

Talking Heads, Genius! It's funny this thread has turned nostalgic. As far as the vma goes, it used to be an exciting thing to watch!

Just play your music louder. That's what I would do.
