There was to be NO AIR ATTACKS against the Taliban as per the agreement..in fact, all or most hostile activities between the Afghan Govt and the Talibvan were to cease...AS PER TRUMPS AGREEMENT....NO DEFINITE timeline was given as to withdrawal..no one knew how fast the Govt. in Kabul would just bugger off like cowards..but THEY KNEW no help was coming...seems the only one who didn;t know WAS YOU....so, read the agreement, understand the agreement and then you will find the answers you seek..just insulting responders to these posts is just troll behavior...

Two days for final push after months of fighting their way there without being battered by air support.

By that time Taliban also already had much of our equipment.

Bad planning and dereliction of duty by joe.

Bad decision by voters.

But some ANA probably did race home to protect family from beheadings at the end.

Already too late.

And joe somehow forgot to evacuate our people & equipment.

Didn't even destroy key items at embassy.

Or evacuate dependents.
