What could go wrong? Instead of just the tobacco gradually killing people and casing cancer how about inserting 2 capsules in the cigarette that change the flavor depending on the sequence of burning. Anyone from the tobacco industry interested in finding out exactly what is in those two capsules and how secure the manufacturing process is. Inquiring minds would like to know.

The only possible saving grace is that members of Biden's staff had already started to blame Trump for whatever was done to mess up the hand off of a country and military gear to the Taliban.

It would seem to me that this handing over of Afghanistan is the first move in a massive FF event, and that something is coming. I wonder if all the people trying to flee the Taliban aren't actually fleeing anything, and will be forced to be admitted into western countries due to "Humanitarian Matters" and that those people will be combatants and not refugees.

Let's hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't look that way.

Our view of the world, no matter how large we think it is, is sooooooooo incomplete. That's ignoring the entire rest of creation. Here's a fun exercise. In one's imagination take the most horrifying problem in one's life and imagine taking it from pea sized to making it as big as all of creation. It creates perspective of sorts. Seeing that pic of folks just acting like uncultured animals yelling at each other reminds me that this sort of POV is so narrow, yet in that moment those folks think it is as big as all of creation and act in ways that just make no sense.

For context on something here:
Kenneth Arnold reported seeing "Flying Saucers" back on June 24, 1947, while flying near Mount Rainier. He reported that the one he saw clearly was more croissant shaped than disk. This was the same timeframe Boeing had obtained some of the captured Horten 229s, and had been flying them around the Puget Sound region. Local pressure on the media was used to push the "UFO/Alien" angle so that Boeing would be in the clear to experiment on this style of airframes without alerting the public over it.

Imagine if a few years after a massive world war, the public started to see a bunch of flying aircraft over their cities that resembled known enemy aircraft. Now image what would happen if any leftover bad actors find out that we were using this captured technologies for our own purposes?

Even today Boeing is 3% of the American GDP, and still fly strange aircraft over cites and try and cover those flights up. Though to be honest, how do you know who won a war if all the "enemy" worth anything are being employed by the so-called "winners".
