Interesting some now recognize the power of the courts, and ignore the power of the legislature.
Seems a separation of powers issue may be brewing.

In all fairness to Maricopa county, I think whatever occurred on those systems was perpetrated off sight remotely via DRT box or something like it. I've seen flight patterns of certain agencies in the area the week of those Nov counts that have me convinced they where doing something in that area specifically...the pattern aligns to closely too LTE towers under 20 miles away from the count area.

There might be some bad actors on site, but even if there were those in power aren't going to out them...that would be the end of their career guilty or no...they will fight this tooth and nail until the end.

...its not easy being a patsy.

Are the paranoid Maricopa county supervisors now fully cooperating with the court-ordered audit, and the team performing it?

If not, they have no basis to request anything from the audit team.

Do you really think that anyone other than CyberNinjas are taking this seriously? Really?

You mean all the lawyers, DOJ, Rachel Maddow, and Maricopa crying like little girls over this nothing burger?

Still amazes me people think the Senate wasnt tipped off, everything is screaming fraud... the kool-aid must be magically delicious.

I'm learning that when you say "This isn't good", it really is good for those of us who want lots of Democrat fraud/cheating uncovered, lol.

It's interesting that 800 Arizonians showed up last Friday to hear 2 members of Congress, and it's not even election season.

MESA, Ariz. — On Friday, Reps. Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene brought their “America First” road show to Maricopa County, the place that has become ground zero in the Republican effort to keep alive former President Donald Trump’s false claims about his 2020 election loss.

“So, let me just check and make sure with all of you: Who do you think won in Arizona on Nov. 3?” Greene, R-Ga., asked a crowd of roughly 800 people gathered at a hotel ballroom in Mesa.

The question prompted loud cheers and chants of “Trump, Trump, Trump!”

“You know that’s how we feel in Georgia too,” Greene, who wore a blue dress, said of another formerly red state turned blue in last year’s presidential election.

“As a matter of fact, that’s how Michigan feels, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. I think that’s how at least 74-plus million people feel.”

Did candidate (or now President) Biden ever have an audience of 800? Or 500? Or.....

If this was a problem during elections why was there only a 16 percent discrepancy during the audit? This is far lower than the error rate they show.

I have no way of knowing the answer to that. They spoke to 2 different machines generating "very different rates." I don't know that they are examining all the machines, so I don't think even they could answer that.

Hopefully, the people running the machines were smart enough to straighten out the ballots it's not rocket science.

Since I sincerely doubt the people running the machines were dumb enough to put them into the machines folded, then yes, I'm pretty sure they straightened out the ballot. It's not rocket science. It may very well be that the ballot could not be straightened out enough, or that even pressing the ballot with an iron may have left enough of an impression to still cause the same problem. But I'm not going to blame the workers. The blame rests with the machines.

i suppose this might have been the difference the audit found but If it is an overvote the machine kicks it out for manual review. So I'm not sure what this shows.

It shows that the machine is not reading the ballots properly, that some votes are therefore being sent to adjudication, some folks getting votes they shouldn't, and some folks not receiving votes they should have.

In the case of the overvote, and going to adjudication, that would mean an election worker is voting for the person. If they are honest and conscientious, and the rest of the ballot is clear, then no problem... if they are not, then big problem.

It also showed votes for a candidate that the voter did not vote for, but since the voter did not vote for anyone, that means that it was not an overvote, so candidate received votes they should not receive by the machine. That's another problem.

Yeah, I saw that pathetic display.

Well, this Arizonan doesn't give a rat's patootie what he thinks. Real Americans think for themselves, not let pasty faced weaselly reporters tell us what to think... much less what to do. I'm pretty sure I'm in good company too.

We're doing the audit anyway.

It seems some doesn't respect the separation of powers between the states and Feds either... although the DOJ was pretty wimpy in their letter to the Senate. But as so many pointed out, this is a state matter and the DOJ needs to stay out of it. However, with the Feds being the ones to certify the certifiers of the machines, they're already treading where they don't belong. I have no doubt they'd happily blur that line even further.

I can't speak to the air traffic aspect, but I tend to agree with the rest. If there is wrongdoing, I'm more likely to think Dominion (or someone else?) is the most guilty party. But the County has made it possible and probable for them to do so. They aren't completely blameless in this mess we called an election, but they may not be the worst among the players either.

LOL at myself -- I thought that was yesterday! I was surprised when I saw it took place Friday.

But you're right. Imagine if it had been Saturday, when people weren't working and could have attended easier. If they got that many on a Friday, I bet they could have doubled it on a weekend.

ETA: I wonder if it's just a coincidence that the area where they held their rally is also one of the areas affected by Sharpiegate... and right up the street from the car dealership business of one of the current Supervisor's grandfather -- Tony Coury. Have you ever seen the old movie "Used Cars" with Kurt Russell? It's literally right there. Of course, it doesn't look nearly the same these days!

Good question:

Why Is the President of LHS Election Voting Machine Company Used in NH Allowed to be Present During the NH Audit?

I'm not necessarily concerned about it or think it's a bad thing. I can see where it would be helpful to have someone who knows the voting machines present during the audit. But, of course, I could also see where it could be a problem, especially if that person has access to the machines without others present. (I assume that's not the case though...)

I also find it curious that these auditors have their own Twitter, and are tweeting their findings in real time; as opposed to the Maricopa audit Twitter, which is actually the Senate liason's Twitter, and the auditors' findings won't be released until the final report as per their contract. And if I'm not mistaken, this was at the auditor's request, not the Senate's request.

I think I like the contrast, if only for comparison's sake.

Somehow, I think i would have far more respect for some people if they said they want "lots of fraud cheating uncovered" without tacking on a party affiliation. It almost makes one believe that you think Conservatives aren't equally as prone to it.

Thanks for posting the link!

I do wish he'd be quiet though. I don't know if he really knows what he thinks he knows (I'm sure he believes he does!), but it's not his place to speak about it, and it's not in the spirit or the letter of what the Senate is trying to accomplish. I don't want to hear from him, I want to hear from the Senate and auditors!

Thanks for posting the links!

That last one is a doozy -- 400k to 700k??? I'm wondering if that would include many/most of the adjudicated ballots. I know I'm not the only one very suspicious of the adjudicated ballots. Not just here in AZ, but in other states as well. And for obvious reasons, and good reasons.
