Maybe the auditors thought the County could/would remove or relocate anything they shouldn't have (since from everything I've read and heard that shouldn't even be on there anyway, for this reason, and for practical reasons).

Right. Remove or relocate settings. Guess what the next arm waving claim would be? "They changed the setttings!" But sure, just let Joe Blow from Florida have a look at the firewall settings. The port forwarding settings. No problem.

I do not trust these auditors either.

And yet, you wait with bated breath for their next "update." The next little tidbit which will feed the beast of rumor even more.

I have no foregone conclusions.

I'm still perplexed over why there has not been a status report from the auditing team. During this 10 day break would be the perfect time.

The Antrim county (Michigan) auditors found a lot of open doors for cheating within the Dominion system, but couldn't prove that cheating occurred. (These weaknesses are why Texas decided against using Dominion, on 3 occasions.)

Another lawsuit regarding Dominion in Ohio:

A new lawsuit by former Trump advisers in Pennsylvania alleges that Dominion Voting Systems has engaged in secretive practices.

The lawsuit, which was filed by Look Ahead America, alleges that the Stark County, Ohio Board of Elections awarded Dominion Voting Systems a contract under less-than-transparent conditions.

The lawsuit accuses the state of expediting Dominion's bid over other vendors, and approved with “unfair competitive or bargaining advantage”, as well as excluding the public from what should have been public meetings.

I'm more than perplexed. We were told they would be done by the 14th, with a report by the 1st of June. We've had no explanation for why that time has more than doubled. I suppose the Senate may consider the hearing yesterday an update, and it is an update on the letter and the issues raised, but not on the audit itself.

The public deserves better than this drama. We deserve some explanations.

The most obvious explanation would be that they have no smoking gun. If they did, sharing that something significantly wrong was found, would calm the rumors, accusations, and highly emotional speculations.

They don't have to say WHAT was found, but releasing a statement saying "an election game-changer has been discovered, and further investigation into the source continues", would be perfect.

Or, issue a statement saying that no significant irregularities were found. And then shut down the operation.
