What happened to slashes? Well into the last decade, we were using that at work for anything that went to the USA or its people in Europe. When dots were used, it was understood to be read as day.month as the Euros read it.

It currently is very difficult to boycott Chinese products. Trying to find products Made in Usa only is even harder (luckily majority of those manufacturers put a flag on them.) When I grew up there was a huge push for the latter which was indoctrinated in me forever. I do with out before I buy Chinese products. There is at least one silent boycott that has been ongoing for decades. A lot of Americans are too lazy to even look at the products label, let alone be inconvenienced with going without. Even if it means purchasing a product made by young slaves.

Dots make it easier for me to read it fast. Did a lot of paperwork over my career.

I knew things were going to hit the fan when I saw toilets made in China being sold at Costco. That was right before the virus hit. One thing that I had noticed was the continuing deterioration of the quality of goods made in China. Anything I bought was missing parts, critical parts, and then I would have to stop and hunt for substitutes for pieces. I started to wonder if this was some kind of test to see if I could figure out how to problem solve.
I have made an effort to not buy their products but it is complicated. Many products may be partially manufactured there and assembled here or materials sourced so when shopping for something you may see a U.S. flag and made in America but in small print assembled elsewhere.
The article attached gives a good breakdown.Scroll to the bottom and you will see there are exceptions, major exceptions such as in automotive, textiles etc so it is really difficult to follow and ensure buying in America.

Yeah that flag can be deceptive absolutely, always check for it just being assembled like you said. My auto is a Honda I have owned nothing but US autos in the past and was discouraged by that. It was made in a US factory and hands down is the nicest auto I have owned to date.

Be careful about the flag as there are some sneaky sellers using language like 'sourced in the USA' etc. implying it is made here, but actually you are jut buying it from someone in the US who imported it. Shady, so just keep an eye out. If it isn't plain language 'made in the USA', then you know there is something up.

Also, it isn't that everything has to be made here, but in no way shape or form should we be supporting the CCP and its allies. Starve them out. If you said, "But you can get a good deal working with Nazi Germany", nobody would do it publicly, but for some reason people go against their own conscience for a few bucks and some junk.

I downloaded it for safe keeping. For some reason though my usual method of downloading yt videos wasn't working with ONLY that particular video. That single video. I tested a random other 15 videos.
