I think you summed it up yourself in describing that we in the conspiracy world know of all the stuff he's talking about so are not shocked but I am aware of how crazy it will sound to the world at large and that could possibly be dangerous for him and the whole operation. There is definitely an element of shock to hear someone accuse such high profile people. But also wondering too if he is intentionally riding along that crazy edge as a cover, kind of like drunken boxing.

(Regarding Lin Wood's accusations)

Wood’s wild accusations may be a way of preparing and desensitizing the public. Hearing them now, without evidence, they can be considered and dismissed as ranting, but the public will have become familiar with the concepts without the sudden, intense shock of them being presented as proven truth.

Then if these things come to light with evidence latter, the public won’t be completely blindsided. They will have at least have heard the “conspiracy theories” before in a less threatening context.

Bongino explicitly denied that on his podcast last night. He does say he is a part owner and would know. He strikes me as trustworthy.
