The 1.40 was chosen because of some limitation with the original site but we know that he is a billionaire so the optics of taking no salary is just that , optics, but...options is another story. Last year he sold options of 1,551,703 shares. The option price was at $3.12 and the average stock price last year was $37.
Using that as a conservative number he earned a payday of $57,413,011 less the option price and taxes but still a wow event. His sales dwarfed what all the other senior executives took. Red Flag, he was taking his chips off of the table.
With the act of sedition and Trump's EO his assets could, and should be taken from him. Along with any visible assets such as his many mansions. However he has had ample time to hide assets. We were all given a heads up when Harris and Warren debated and Harris wanted Twitter to deplatform Trump. Maybe things got out of hand and too many were removed but the damage is now done.
The big Question is where and what are the other assets and can they be seized? If they are in countries hostile to the U.S. there may not be any cooperation.
Early in 2019 there was a lot of noise about replacing him and big investment companies bailed and took their profits.

With Android, getting around an app being taken off the Google Play store is trivial. Apple is a different story. I believe there is still a switch in the Android settings that says something to the effect of "Allow unsigned APK files". If you turn the switch to YES, and you can find the APK file in question somewhere else on the web, you can then install.

iPhones are a whole different animal. I think you would probably need to jailbreak your phone, and I'm not sure if an iOS 14 jailbreak exists in the wild yet or not.

Does this same technology also record the online activities, times, and whereabouts of those politicians that were communicating with antifa and others on their laptops and phones before the incident at Capitol?

Special Forces took their computers and some phones/tablets. Emails and messages sent from them will have time-stamps, and CCTV will have time-stamped recordings of who was in a particular office or desk using those computers at the same times the communications were sent.
