The problem with what happened is Antifa succeeded in their "mission" to smear the 99% of decent, law-abiding Americans who supported Trump at the rally.

I did read this morning that some Trump supporters have now been definitively identified as having participated in the mayhem at the front of the breach, but they were a minority of the thousands who attended.

I seriously doubt Trump meant for there to be any disturbance. I think it may have been a miscalculation on his part about the possible outcomes of actually marching to the Capitol. He probably should have held the rally without the match, or scheduled it in another area of the city.

I realize the intent was to send a message to Congress, but clearly it backfired on him.

I saw this morning he will not attend the inauguration. I think it's the best option, as the people stepping into the role were not legally elected. Attending would be legitimizing the usurper.

Wow, Eureka and Humboldt are both two of the most liberal areas of CA, also both college towns and pot growing areas, also out in the boondocks. Those areas were part of my territory when I worked for large grocery store chain, so I know them well. I’m telling you guys, most of Cali turned red, I really believe that !

The only fair solution would be to have held a second Presidential election, but since the cowards in Congress have no balls, they accepted that monumental dishonesty and certified the usurper.
