Yeah, $1,500 is a nice amount, but I'm not taking it to take a shot.

To some people $1,500 is a lot.
I think of a large family with many children, this could be a windfall.

For me, my family's health is far more valuable. I really don't think any amount would make me risk
it. I am not anti-vax, but this is too soon. How can other vaccines take almost a decade and still have issues yet this one is ready in months... I don't think so..

I know what you mean but let's face it. The vaccine will be mandatory soon or later and there is no way to avoid it. You won't be able to go to work or buy anything if you are not vaccinated.

So, even if I hate it, I'll get the shot and take the money.

Since I will wait patiently in line until my turn for the vaccine regardless, I'll take he check if it is offered. But if it is not, I'll get the vaccine anyway. Makes no difference to me.

If i understand right, emergency use authorization vaccine cant be mandatory in current us laws because it is still investigational. So they come up with stimulus...not worth it to risk health. And being sick in usa can be very expensive , few days in hospitals can much more than 1500$

They need to include a waiver of any right to sue when they all either have weird side effects now or develop some kind of cancer later. You choose to take it and get your $1500, but don't come looking for sympathy or handouts later or a big payday.

I might consider a vaccine in exchange for a paid-for membership to a functional health care system instead of the trillions we give the rich with each "bailout". Sounds reasonable to me.
