It is beyond painful. But it is indicative of how the ignorant proclaim their ignorance with pride. I've seen in here in this thread and in my life at every turn. I see how folks fail to understand anything rudimentary at all, but parrot back talking points they were programmed with. Most people are not learning, they are demanding the world conform to their already perfect understanding of everything.

Even worse, in the case of these two, their "reasons" are simply because "it shouldn't be this way but another." Their reasons, literally, are "we're a Republic (ish) but I think we should be more mob rule, as such, that's why ACB can't be confirmed." I expect they apply this to physics as well, construction, law and even relationships.

This makes the world a difficult place to live in where ignorance is bliss, and the expression of that ignorance, is not only popular, it is seen as more evolved. The clone-bots matter not to me, but I've seen human folks attempt to school me often enough - even here, using absolute ignorance of the topic and the facts and their unwillingness to learn is beyond disheartening.

THIS is what the problem is. It isn't DJT, or Biden or the rest, it is the blissful ignorance so much of the population lives in and their willingness to sell fellow human beings out for the right to live in it. Folks have stopped learning, they are too often just parrots of talking points which they seek to impose on the entirety of the population without regard to anyone or anything.

These are the folks who want to turn off all power generators while we wait for the "alternative." They're the folks who want to release all prisoners, figuring they are all wrongly in jail. They're the folks who think the law is colloquial, malleable made to fit their feelings. These are folks who think because today's job is within walking distance ALL folks should walk to work right now or be put in jail using laws they made up on the spot.

GPS Longitude Ref GPS:LongitudeRef GPS Longitude Ref tells whether the picture was taken in the eastern or western hemisphere.

Re: pteridine - Yes, I seen the same regarding the GPS coords landing in a parking lot. From experience with cameras (not phones) the GPS coordinates that are written to the image Exif data are not always accurate like a Garmin GPS in your car. They can be a few hundred yards off.

ETA: This I believe is tied to the new push in STEM for kids. They rarely read literature in school anymore and if they do, it is "woke" lit. I actually heard a person claim they had "de-colonized" their bookshelf FFS. I think taking away literature and book burning amounts to taking away any critical thinking skills a person could develop. Not being able or encouraged to read and reflect on human nature and the experiences of a wide range of times and places and peoples....not being encouraged to THINK...a travesty. We've dumbed down the education system and stopped asking for real thought. No wonder we are where we are...
