I think there is a lot of sub rosa activity in that regard, and with the Knights of Malta as well.

I have seen a Church property that is huge in size and operates at the moment as a sacred location for pilgrims -- and not in the Vatican State or Italy. Places like that may well be designated fallback locations if the Vatican goes under or is openly subverted (a situation that looks to be the case today).

Now we are confronted by the Wuhan virus disaster and we have to manage with the loss of our own medical manufacturing industries which were shifted to China.

Don't we find it odd that the Lord's son Jesus who requires we love our neighbor as ourselves if we follow him gets treated like manure and his followers dissed, but the peaceful religion can't take the same treatment of their God's prophet? If his prophecies have proven to be true, and they meant to love your neighbor, there would be no need to defend his honor.

If your God can't handle criticism well, might be the clue it is from the Devil instead.

The small PO send their mail to be sorted by the big machines at central locations all over America. I am in a Civitan club with some Mailmen who tell me the sorting part has to be done that way. This machine is expensive and this is how they have done it for decades now depending on how rapidly the machines were installed in that region. The part where it set somewhere after processing is related, normally, to how well that piece of mail passed thru the machine.
I have had a bill that was to be delivered to the city water dept that never made it and when I went to the post office they explained that it probably didn't pass thru the machine and paraphrasing here, if there wasn't enough of it left they have little recourse but to recycle the debris field it left. Tough stuff for me and a late bill that should have went to my PO and then to the mailbox of the local mail only pile that apparently doesn't exist since dozen's of years back.

Still doesn't explain how my package was at my post office, ready for delivery, and was then sent to Chicago, 100 miles away, for a week. After a week it was sent back to my post office opened.

ETA, it was properly addressed and the contents were actually described by a large sticker - usefulcharts.com .

Sorry to hear you're being hit. Over the past few years I have lived in Vegas, Santa Ana and DFW. Santa Ana was the only city w/ good postal service. Our little post office in North Dallas loses stuff, somehow it takes 2 weeks for package to get to Chgo. We've had problems with deposits (local branch closed), bills, I send out priority mail packages, treated like parcel post, schedule pick ups - completely optional on various days. Unreal - if I complain, I'm a, well, whatever.
