I don't remember the Japanese buying rights to any designs.

What are you referring to in particular?

The Japanese have permission to build things like the F-4, F-15, CH-47, etc

The US and any western country would do the same if they needed to.

The allies copied the German tech and the U.S. copied some Jap tech after WWII. But we earned that tech we fought hard for our war booty.

That doesnt make it "right", certianly not honourble.

Well it was either use the tech or let the Soviets surpass us in military technology.
When the Soviets were invading England you could have told them " shame on you communist we are honorable because we don't copy tech, you can bomb us but we will die know that we were honorable".

I'm assuming that if the soviets invaded the british isles.. they would not stop with just "England"

Very few designs were directly copied. Most were for research. The V-1 and V-2 were copied by very quickly withdrawn. The US studied captured German technology. It was a war, that is what you do. China did not have a war lately to justify copying US and European technology.

The Japanese had a whole array of small planes that used rocket motors to fly, they were never deployed as the war ender before they could be produced in numbers, and the Jap’s had jet aircraft too.

If you visit any Japanese forum, you will find that the word Jap is banned.

it is respected site not one sided like pak defence site where you can make mockery on other countery and there people.

all those # word should bannned from this site.
