You see, everyone here, I have been talking with God deniers for many years, and it is my most honest intelligent productive thinking, my conclusion that God deniers do nothing to explain why and how they deny God to exist, but they are always into skirting the issue God exists or not.

You know why they skirt the issue itself of God exists or not?

Simple, because they are humans i.e. members of the taxonomy homo sapiens, so they are like us all, they are intelligent or are brain-wired to think intelligently, so they know in their heart and mind that there exists God, in concept as the permanent self-existent entity cause of man and the universe and everything transient, with a beginning and an ending.

So they go into skirting the issue itself, and resort to fooling simple folks with vacuous words to impress them, that they have proven God does not exist.

Or with one charlatan Richard Dawkins, that it is most probably true that God certainly does not exist, and he could add, So enjoy your life, as though one cannot enjoy life knowing that God exists.

The only way we can we humans can prove or disprove God exists, is by our human intelligence, and there is no other intelligence by which we can prove or disprove God exists or not.

However I grant that your God of religion is grounded on the God of reason, what do I mean by that?

Dear cooperton, I think you make the distinction between believing and knowing, that's all right, but the verb word, to know, is very broad, so that everything we talk about or think about, is something of which we can say we know.

That is why I make a distinction for God, between God of religion and God of reason, meaning that God of religion is more of believing in than God of reason.

Of course religious writers tell us that believing is not any kind of acceptance of truth that is without any at all rational grounding, but all pure 100% fanaticism or bigotry, like a person insisting that no matter what you say, he is going to insist that a cadaver is alive - when it is obvious that the cadaver has already reached the stench of decay, and he says it is his believing so, no matter what is obvious that the cadaver is already smelling awful, and everyone can and does see it.

Now, I am sure you believe in God as narrated in the Bible and also taught by Jesus, because there were miracles vouching for the Bible and for Jesus’s words - see, that is your some sort of rational grounding for believing.

And that is what I call God of religion i.e. grounded on believing.

And what is God of reason?

God of reason is what we come to with honest intelligent productive thinking, like we ask ourselves whether there has got to be some entity that is in charge of everything that we know about, from of ourselves us humans and also of the whole universe, and we reason that Yes there has got to be some entity in charge, otherseiwise how come our nose is not falling off uncertainly.

And from this line of reasoning we conclude that there exists God as the permanent self-existent cause of man and the universe and everything with a beginning and an ending.

It is in the Bible also, in the very first line of the Bible, in the beginning God made heaven and earth, that is an indication that the human who wrote that line, he did a lot of thinking, of course you say that he got it from God.

Yes, I will agree with you that he got it from God, because everything that we are and we come to, ultimately it comes from God, it follows as God is the cause of man and the universe and everything transient i.e. with a beginning and an ending.

God of Religion and God of Reason are the same God for me. I would agree with your definition, and the only definition I would see better is that God is transcendent and undefinably grandiose.

It was the rational pursuit of knowledge without bias that drew me back to the Founder of the Universe.

Well, I guess cooperton has not come up with anything in re God exists or not, to for me learn something from him.

You see, everyone here, we must seek to learn from others in re God exists or not, so that we will get to know if any at all, some honest intelligent productive thoughts in the hearts and minds of our adversaries or partisans in re God exists or not.

My own observation is that the most rabid fanatics and bigots in re God exists or not, are the God deniers starting with the outspoken atheists, and the God of religion knowers, they are the ones most extremely fanatic and bigotic in their blind attachment to unrational ideas.
